Default Pair of 5's Sir - College Season Selections

The Wolverine line is soft. Anquish created by the Appalachian State loss last year, looms bold in creating this line, for the public has given up on the Michigan dominating tradition thus creating doubt with the betting public. Michigan gets a year under its belt with Rodriquez with its West Coast BS offense. By the way, a good source tells me that Bo is spinning in his grave. Also, the so called turmoil created by the practice scandal adds to the soft line. Wolverines at home getting points. In a conversation with a Michigan insider, "It's been nuts up here waiting for the Irish game."

    Michigan pumped
    Soft line
    Michigan getting points
    Information from a devine source

    It's enough for me.

    Michigan +3

Michigan didn't play Appalachian State last year.

    That was 2 years ago.

And Michigan doesn't run the "west coast offense".

Your are right Marty. It just seems that way for all the Michigan supporters. As to the offense, call it whatever you want. It's a west coast, run and shoot, or whatever the hell it is. It's not Michigan football but when Rodriguez gets it going they will thunder. What is you thought on the selection Marty.

    Michigan runs a spread offense.

Just don't think I know enough about either team at this point to play the game, even though the hype around it in this state is nuts right now. I do think Michigan will be able to run read-option between the tackles. Not sure if Forcier and Robinson can make enough plays in the passing game, especially with Hemmingway possibly being out. Brandon Graham and company need to have a consistent pass rush on Claussen, because if he gets time, he has too many weapons.

I think that's pretty good analysis MSU, also quite a disparity in talent between the teams at the WR position...Floyd is an absolute beast

I think Michigan can move the ball.

But then again, I thought Nevada would move the ball on ND.

Here is what we know. Hemingway for Michigan is out today. He is their best WR. And freshmen make mistakes. Especially when they are pumped up. QB edge has got to go to ND.

And then there is ND's WRs/TE.

Can anyone name a better trio than ND's Floyd/Tate/Rudolph? Michigan couldn't cover them last year, why will they be able to cover them this year?

ND is my play here. Small play, but still my play.

Marty, I don't know if you are familar with my contrarian capping strategy. Based on contrarian strategy, Michigan is the play. Soft line. Michigan +3. I am waiting to see if you accept my SBR points wager.

Disagree with your rationale that the line is soft because the public gave up on Michigan. They certainly have, but have you paid attention to Notre Dame at all the last couple years? The public gave up on them huge as well. And how many games has Michigan tanked when they were "pumped" over the last 2 seasons? Too many. The "pumped up" or "must win" factor is one of the most overblown in capping. Notre Dame takes this one.

    Notre Dame -3.

Good afternoon fellow contrarians. We are giving a lookse at tonight's matchup. Should be interesting with the legend of UM lurking aboving the clouds. I will report back to you as the day progresses. As you remember last weekend was top notch to include 1 loss with the debacle kick off return with the Bills. But enough with the spilled milk.

    Beware O Contrare
