So Carolina +7 With SC struggling Offense,Defense has to step up again, last wk they held NCST to 11 1st downs and 133 total yds and allowed only 59 yds rushing on 39 attempts and limited them to 5 of 14 3rd down conv.and did not allow them to penetrate the red zone. So should stop Bulldog running game leaving pressure on 1st yr QB Cox..i'll take the Defensive play and pts in this one.
USC -5.5 This the 1st time Trojans have traveled to the Horseshoe since 1990
Freshman QB Barkley passed for 79% completion 15 of 19 for 233 yds and passed it around to 10 different players(Carrol was happy) USC rushing attack aided by rushing for 342 yds and accounted for 6 rushing scores in all Trojans rolled up 624 total yds and reached the end zone 8 times. Defense allowed a meager 121 yds total yds including only 9 yds on the ground. OSU has a solid nucleus on D. w/ 7 starters returning but allowed Navy to put up 186 yds rushing, they did post up a good pass defense but its probably due to the fact Navy rarely throws. I think OSU has another 1 of those yrs (overrated)
