Default Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't hammer UNC -4 over Connecticut?

Am I missing something here? Uconn has major problems on special teams and their offense won't be able to move much against a good, solid UNC defense. Sure UNC has some issues at wideout but top to bottom they seem to be a more talented and coached club.

-4 on the road still seems like a gift here. I've layed a little on this game already but why shouldn't I hammer this???

    I'm with you Mac.

Just gotta get by the GT Over first!

GL......I'm going to pound that spread as well. UCONN has NOBODY....they all left.

North Cacka Lacka is going to ROLL UCONN.

    Mac.....I feel the same way.

I love UNC. I don't see one area where UConn has an advantage

Some good cappers are on UConn too. But I just don't get it.

    Pags can answer your question, he's on UCONN . . . . I don't like the game either way personally . . . .

FWIW I like Carolina. I didn't bet it because I like some others better.

Because UCONN wins outright? I am not sold on UNC.

UNC won 38-12 in Chapel Hill last year and UConn doesn't have RB Donald Brown anymore. Also there are very nice hot girls in Conneticut, sexy and rich and horny. that's why the line is even four, otherwise it would be -23.5 lol

I'm riding this with ya. Would be nice to get a winner under our belts early.

Apparently the starting RB and nose tackle for UNC has swine flu. That may be the information we didn't know...

I still think UNC wins this in a rout. I'm thinking about hammering this even more. So far this is a 20 unit play for me.

you know guys... sometime a bet just looks too good to be true... got that feeling today... why would unc not smack them today ? ... just too easy, that scares me...

UNC is NOT a good bet, I mean, who died last year and made them 20 in the nation? Yates/Nicks gone and they're better? They're unproven...

The Tar Heels will be without starting fullback Bobby Rome and defensive tackle Jordan Nix, who have tested positive for "probable" swine flu.

Got this report from CBS sports.
Uconn in a home opener, gives me reason to pass.
    Other games to consider.

    Yates/Nicks gone and they're better?

Yates is not gone. You likely meant Brandon Tate who missed most of last year and they did fine without him. The fact that you don't like UNC wont make them a loser and the fact that you do like ECU wont stop West Virginia from kicking their butt. WVU minus 6.5 is a good bet.

As for the original guestion, "why not hammer UNC", the line is too inviting. Carolina lost Nicks and Brooks Foster from last year but they were so rich in receivers they moved Greg Little to running back because he was too good not to have on the field. He's back at wide receiver this year and they have a slew of tall, fast freshmen and redshirt freshmen receivers. Brown ran wild on UNC last year but UNC still crushed UConn. UConn lost more of their overall talent than UNC and UNC's recruiting class was much better than UConn. The line should be higher and all the money's on UNC. If this were a weekday game UConn+5 would be a lock. Since it's Saturday, maybe not. Be careful on this one, it's a danderoud bet.

They had momentum and stalled, again. UNCONN has had a number of close calls with turning the ball over. UNC needs to convert those chances.
