I went to and now work at UNC so I'll throw that out up front. Glad to be getting back to the sports betting scene now that I've got some free time to pay attention to it. Spent last week lurking around and thanks to all who provided great write-ups, they were hugely helpful.
Back to the game. As far as defense, it looks like it'll be the strength for UNC this year (and a first in a decade). The front seven look like they'll be really nasty this year. They will be the two strongest units on the entire team (D-Line and LB corps). They were simply unrelenting last week and it's refreshing to see D-lineman and linebackers who attack the ball.
As far as offense, it's still a large question mark. Even though we racked up 40 last weekend, it wasn't a real test so it'll be interesting to see if the freshman WR's can shake off the nerves and convert "almosts" into huge plays as many passes went bouncing off finger tips vs. the Citadel.
The huge numbers the running game threw up last week I attribute to the quality of the defensive line they were facing. Our O-line is far from healthy and we have a lot of questions in that squad as the year progresses and they handled the trenches last weekend easily because the Citadel was simply over-matched.
Our QB is solid and will be a calming factor as long as we can keep him healthy.
I think the difference in the game will be the pressure the D-line can put on the UConn QB. If they keep up the steam they had last week, he'll spend a lot of the day running. If he has time, it'll be a close game.
I didn't get a chance to watch the UConn (hey, I work on gameday

) so I can't say anything in regards to anything not in the boxscore.
