Note to all: Coaches in their 2nd year are always good bets. I don't have stats but I don't need to look them up. All I know is that betting games on 2nd year coaches will make you money.

I like Jevan Snead at QB, he's the real deal. This guy can throw the rock plus he has Dexter McCluster who is one of the most exciting offensive playmakers. Greg Hardy is banged up but that defense is solid.

Memphis's has to replace 4 linemen so their senior QB Hall will be on his back all day trying to pass. They have a good JUCO transfer RB but he won't get squat against a talented OM defense.

Memphis is a pretender. They played well down the stretch last year but then got wiped out by south florida who was not and still is not as good as Ole Miss. Memphis is not as good as they were last year which spells trouble for them. Hammer this line. I'm not so sure about the Over but I'm leaning small on it.

I took the points against Ole Miss. I just do not believe that OM offense will show too much against this team. I think they will run it a lot and eat up clock and let Memphis backdoor them. Remember, they already have the ranking so no need in running up the score and showing your hand when you are the best team.

Memphis plays tough at home....they have lost 4 offensive lineman though....which can be an issue considering Memphis returns 8 returning starters on defense...

LSU and Les Myles is severely overrated. He just happens to have great talent that he still can't coach up and he's the luckiest SOB in the business.

Ole Miss defense looks awesome right now. Greg Hardy is already in the game. Memphis is not going to move the ball much today.
