    Default Gator fan but seriously.................

I am a true Gator fan but the University of Florida and all top ranked Universities have to stop scheduling these bottom tier Division 1 and all Division 2 schools. I know it brings money to these lesser schools and every great once in a while you get an amazing upset or close call but they need to be stopped.

Charleston Southern against Florida tonight was more of a joke then the score indicated. While they did put forth a valiant performance and they certainly had some skilled players it was still embarrassing. Just as it's been embarrassing in the past to be playing The Citidel.

Georgia went out of conference and played Oklahoma State. true they lost and it will hurt them in the polls it still garners respect. LSU, while I can't stand the purple and gold are atleast across country playing a Division 1 patsy.

Does anyone here think these games merit scheduling?

when the BCS took strength of schedule out of the formula, teams have no reason to schedule strong out of conference games. An AD is an idiot for doing so

    its a joke IMO.
UGA seems to be the only SEC school in the past few years to schedule decent out of conference games, but these games are scheduled years prior to playing.
UGA has tried to get a deal with Michigan but doesnt look like it'll work, now theres talk of a home and home with Army in 2012 I think.

Florida State, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia Tech, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, USC, and several others have tried to schedule at least one really strong out of conference game a year recently.
