    Default UB @ UTEP.. thoughts?

For some reason I keep getting the feeling that UB will repeat another win against UTEP... they are being given 10.5 pts and +340 straight up... anyone else think this is a great look? I could go from the to the within 3 min on this game.... just want to make sure I'm not crazy... all ideas are appreciated.

UB is in a tough spot here. They lost sparks, their rb for the season due to a knee injury, and drew willy (QB) graduated at the end of last season. The wide recievers are solid. But on the other side of the ball UB has upgraded their defense and looked good in fall practice. Turner Gill went as far as to say this is the best D he's ever coached. I'm personally thinging about taking the points or even teasing it up alittle.

Like I said in previous posts... UB will still be solid this year, Maynard is a very good QB, could be better than Willy...

    He looked OUTSTANDING I thought.

Although their defense is small, they do have pretty good speed.

Themajormt----you don't know this, but I'm a fan of the Bulls, as my girlfriend went to school there and I've followed them closely now for 3 years. In fact, we will be attending the BUFF @ UCF game in two weeks.........GO BULLS!!

Fishy did you end up pounding UTEP like you said you would? I hit the UB ML pretty good...

I have done a lot of research on Maynard and he is legit. He obviously will have a learning curve but Gill is a great coach and will do things within his means and not ask too much of him. The main downside is UB's secondary, which was evidenced by UTEP almost winning the game after they had no offense since early in the first half. UB going on the road and beating a decent team is a big step for them, 2 years ago this wouldnt have happened.

You should come up next week for the Pitt game!!!!!

Looks like UB did what they had to do... I hit a little small something on the ML... and hit the Points rather well... there is just something about UB that is underrated... you gotta think, most teams from buffalo are. lol
