I have found it difficult to handicap games in the 1st couple weeks of most all sports.

I found out the hard way last year about the zooker and Juice.... so much talent on the illini starting to think zook isnt a very good coach but one hell of a recruiter. stayed away after they lost to western michigan last year they were placed on my "no play" list until juice is gone or i think they can be trusted.

I do not think they were that highly rated from the beginning.

Tough loss, going to be an interesting season. The best receiver in the big ten might be out for a while. The Illini need Arrelious.

black QB..... cant stand betting them. Not even a racist statement anymore. Kind of like a white point guard

I didn't even have to guts to bet on my beloved Mizzou. On paper, Illinois was the clear favorite. It seems like Mizzou is now one of those schools that RELOADS instead of Rebuilds. QB Gabbert is going to be a stud. Better than Chase Daniel I think due to his size.

yeah he's my dawg too, always hype him up and he didnt do shit, kid is 6'-5" GET HIM THE BALL DEEP not those dumb 5 yard quick routes and same w uh-oh

any word on rejus? i know its an ankle sprain but is it a high one? if so...... , gotta be decent given he played with a separated shoulder like all year....

that was just pathetic...i played them on half n game pretty big...luckily i did the same with nd...hit on uab and texas a&m which saved my day....but that was just awful to watch...watching juice get his foot stepped on by a guard on 4th and 1 when they still had a chance....rejus going down on the first series....i knew dufrene was out....what about ford?

as i stated in my post about this game earlier this week...i knew gabbert was a super blue chipper...but damn i was impressed...big kid...strong arm(theres millions of those types...what seperates those from truely great qbs is the ability to process info quickly)...and he looks like he can do just that

Never trust the Zooker... I've posted many times that he's a great recruiter and his players will go through a wall for him but just not at game time. He is one of the worse in game guys in the business. I really don't think he will ever be a serviceable coach. He probably needs to be in the NFL as an assistant.

I realized Ron Zook was a bad coach when he went for a 2pt conversion in the 1Q for absolutely no reason (we were way ahead), and that ended up costing us the game late. If you could combine his recruiting skills and Bruce Weber's coaching skills, we'd have one hell of a team.

Last year there were probably 10 different occasions when the moron Zook declined holding penalties that obviously should have been accepted or accepted penalties that obviously should have been declined. There was not a doubt in my mind that Mizzou would be the more prepared team yesterday. 2 words for Zook....BRUTAL and CLUELESS
