    Obviously some of you guys are missing the point. Perhaps you have never played a real sport or missed the lesson on sportsmanship. *Trash Talk* comes with the game - period. Resorting to violence simply because you get schooled on the field doesn't excuse a single thing. Blount is a troublemaker anyway so it's not a shock what he did last night. This is why Oregon coaches have issues with him.

    @OvertimePlease: Hey partner, perhaps you could add something meaningful to the discussion next time instead of your lame lines. Don't turn this into a racial issue. Skin color has no bearing on the matter. It's doesn't matter if the Boise player who got sucker punched was black, white, or Asian - he didn't deserve it.

    Agreed, sometimes it's easy to tell who has or hasn't played sports by reading posts. If you get beaten badly during a game, and you're walking off the field, game already over, somebody slaps your shoulder pads, talks a bunch of trash in your face, I don't think most people would just walk away without a reaction. Obviously his reaction was going too far, but it certainly wasn't "unprovoked" or a sucker punch. If you slap somebodys shoulder pads and talk trash to them, why would you think they wouldn't react? It was the taunters own fault for looking away, the punch was coming either way.

    Boise State's coach said today he wouldn't suspend "potato head" for instigating the melee. Instead he's going to spend the weekend "talking with him".

    Hout should have been suspended for one game. Period. Blount, IMO is gone for the season.

    a top program like Florida,alabama,usc he would be kicked off the team because they have guys almost as good if not as good behind him, the powers that be at Oregon believe in 3rd chances.
