I went thru key numbers in college football and came up with some results i found surprising. Wanted to run it by you guys to get thoughts on if my info is correct. I found it is mathematically advantageous or neutral to buy on/off 3, 7, 10, 17, 24. 17 and 24 really surprised me to be included and 14 and 21 were not mathematically advantageous.
any thoughts on this? never thought of buying on or off 24..... Also was surprised by how little value points 11 and 13 had. I thought they had more than the calculator indicated.
Finally i include mathematically neutral numbers in those i would/will buy as it will increase winning percentage while breaking even mathematically.
i was just going thru the math of this myself today. What is this "1/2 point calcultor" you mentioned and how did you determine your results? timely thread
Looseonthelead- here is the link. to get results you need to play with it and use intuition on the values of what it costs to buy points. if you have additonal questions after playing with it let me know.
