the only game im not so thrilled with is the ohio one, uconn is pretty decent no? Although the bobcats are at home they have not been terribly good in the past =\

All of Ohio's Skilled players are back from a year ago. They have plenty of experienced players on both sides of the ball and dual threat senior options at the QB position in Jackson and Scott. Price and Brazill are pretty solid at the wideout spots, and RB Chris Garrett has a sh**load of potential.

Keep this in mind as well, this is virtually the same Ohio team that lost three games by less than 4 points last year, not to mention the fact that they lost 14-26 @ Ohio St. and 8-16 @ Northwestern. That's an average of only 10 points, and that's 10 points on the road vs. huge schools with superior talent, year in and year out.

Connecticut is not a team that travels well and we all know these guys are taking a step back this year without Brown, their entire offense last year. 3 out of their 5 loses were on the road last year. Some of their away games last year includeed: OT @ Temple 12-9 W, 26-21 W @ sh***y Louisville, 12-38 L @ NC, 10-12 L @ Rutgers, and 13-17 L @ SF.

Adding 2 more plays, one that I was already on with LA Tech +13.5 when the lines came out, but even at +12 this game still has plenty of value (imo).

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs +12 (1 Unit)

I agree with Minny and Illinois. You should know that buying the hook is strictly a losers play. If you don't have the confidence in your wager, why pay 10%, or in the case of, UTEP and N.C. State 20% more. People often conviently forget to add on the extra losses when they buy the hook and lose. If you do not think that your team can cover the spread by 3-4 points, you should not be playing that game. The books love hook players because they know exactly how profitable it is. Way too much hook playing here.

Got f***ed on a lot of games last year because I didn't buy the hook. I'm playing enough games to cover my a** anyway. Secondly, I don't play for peanuts, so if they cash, I'll pay the extra change and not have to sweat out a win by 10, 7, or 3. GL

Other Plays Worth Taking A Look At

    Utah -20.5

    Oregon +4.5

    W.Michigan +13

    Georgia +6

    UAB -5.5

    Virgina Tech +7

No Units, but I'll count them towards my overall record as suggested plays.

UAB and Western Michigan almost made my card...but I had to cut it down to 9 plays...which is still too many for week one but oh well. BOL Riggs

Riggs, not sure what you mean by No Units, but I'll count them towards my overall record as suggested plays.

If you count them in your regular record it seems as though it would be screwed up. Maybe you should keep a separate record for suggested plays? Just a suggestion.

Anyway, I am on most of your plays (with units). Best of luck this week.

Thanks, I try. I did a hell of a lot better in the 2007 NCAAF Season. I was hitting close to 65% of my plays. Had a few mediocre weeks last year, but I anticipate a much better season this year! BOL to you Sir.

They're returning a nice squad, an excellent D-Line and an outright stud at the QB position. Not to mention the fact that this HOME game is live on national television for the entire country to see. This one's HUGE for the NC State program and that great fan base of theirs! We should be alright with this one.
