College football teasers in general are tough to win with. Games tend to fall so far away from the number on a regular basis.

Like all str8 up....so i really love them with a 10 point jump.

I personally feel BYU & Wash are to slow and will be routed by talent alone. Then add speed and coaching they both LSU & OKLA win easily....Auburn will show up big there first game at home under Gene to impress the "aubee's" at Jordan Hare... They have a soild def. and off. will be better due to a simple system that Gene will run. Unlike that bullshit they tried last yr.....

All advice is good advice when betting so i thAnk all who reply......???

Its a huge mistake to tease games in week 1 of the college football season.

There are no exhibition games played and therefore no real way to judge the quality or lack thereof of the teams.

To that end, the lines are far more loose than they are later on in the season and therefore the results are likely to end far outside of the spreads posted thus reducing the value of teasing teams.

In week 1, the way to go is to do heavy amounts of research on a few teams ranked outside the top 25 and then bet accordingly if you see value on the posted number.

Oklahoma State has everything and then some. Its going to be very hard for UG to stop this offense (Robinson, Hunter, Bryant) and UG has half their defense back from LY. Oklahoma States defense isnt much better but UG doesnt have nearly the offense that OK State does.

Joe Cox at QB will struggle in this environment due to his lack of expiernce and talent. They will have the same situation this year as LSU had LY at the quarterback position and it doesn't help him that their starting RB has 20 career carries and wont be that effective until later in the year, if at all. Other then AJ Green who is an outstanding player the WR corp isnt that great. Mike Moore their #2 guy has 30 catched in three years.

Opening the season vs a team with national title hopes and a great offense in a very very hard place to win with one skill player on offense and expecting to win is gonna be a HUGE task. OK STATE wins by 14+

Im essentially getting OK State ML at -120, that is if the rest of the teams win SU which i see no reason why they shouldnt.

I just received some good info from a good friend who i trust....So i'll lay off auburn until later this season as it unflod.....I personally feel they will repond well to new system and lack of depth they should still cover..but i'll hold off due too finding from a friend......I will replace Auburn IN TEASER with probably NEB -9 OR OHIO ST- 12..????

That's why you'll NEVER see either one recommend a teaser especially in CFB! When you've been at this a while you too will learn, that "teasers" are a books best friend. The ONLY ones I would ever consider are 2 tm in the NFL, 6pts across KEY #'s!! You used to be able to get even$$ on that one, but no more. The books got wise and it's now 6 to 5. Teasers
