Hey Riggs good to see ya back. I will be posting my plays again this year as well. I see you are (for the most part) staying away from the big numbers on the first week. Some people live and die by the big spreads in the early part of the year. So 11 plays for the first week...are these all 1 unit or how are you tracking your bets this year? Seems like a lot of plays but I know it's hard to not make a play when you have a good feeling. I think I will stick to about 3-7 plays a week this year. I almost always bet the same amount (if not I put 2, 3 or 4 units...) and was wondering if you could put down what your system is. Again, welcome back man.

What's Up C-Bait, long time no hear. I'm f***ing pumped up for this year!

These are just hunch plays, I'll be narrowing down my picks and units in about a week or so, give or take a few days, need to do a little more research.

Lets put our heads together and f***in roll this year C-Bait!

NC State is returning nearly all of their starters this year including standout QB Wilson. This team is very aggressive and physical on both sides of the ball. This isn't the old NC State, this team is actually very fun to watch on saturdays!

This SC squad doesn't impress me at all, a team returning only 5 starters on offense, not to mention half of their defense gone as well. SC will be entering the season opener with a lot of new YOUNG faces in there, including several first year players. I'm on NC State.

I can't really disagree with the logic here on NC State. I'm not sure if it will be an opening week play for me or not. I'll let you know as it gets closer...seems like it took forever to get here. But I am confident we can have another great year. I hope we get everyone back from last year. Any thoughts on the Virgina Tech/Alabama game? Seems like one of the more intriguing matchups. Also, would love to hear why Louisiana Tech is the play at Auburn. That's a big number for an offense that looked pathetic last year, but my thoughts are an SEC team at home on week one would be awfully intimidating...

Good luck with all of those Riggs. I really hope Toledo covers (my alma mater). Not real confident on Minny, but I hope it hits for you.

Illini, I got them at -5.5 when the line opened up a long time ago.

Well I'm not a fan of Tyrod Taylor at all, nor am I a fan of V-Tech. They're returning a lot of starters (17 returning), kids who were very young last year, they should be pretty solid. Alabama's defense will keep them in games this year, they have 9 returning starters on that side of the ball, not to mention Bama's one of the best recruiting schools in the nation. V-Tech just isn't in the class of the Tide, nor is the rest of the ACC. Bama should smash V-Tech, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger on that line quite yet!

LA Tech is one of my sleeper teams this year, most of their talent from last year is back, including 9 starters on offense with the best RB in the WAC Porter, who should have a monster year. The defense will struggle at times but they're very strong up front and Brian White is healthy again this year. Auburn is implementing so many changes offensively this year it's gonna take them some time to gell under Chizik's new system. Ben Tate is a solid RB but Tech doesn't perform poorly against the run, they're pretty solid up front, they were bad in spots against the pass last year which is not a strength of Auburn's anyway. 13.5 is too high (imo), plus the casuals and squares will push this f***er over 14.

After much debate I think Illinois is a good play, even at 7. Cincinnati was also early on my list of plays. They never get any respect...

Good to be back, we all HAVE TO feed off each other this year and make a nice profit. NC State is the more talented team here, they got smoked last year, don't think that one isn't in the back of their minds, this game has revenge factor written all over it.

This line is so f***ing inflated, but believe me, wait to nail this one. This line will get even higher closer to game time. One of my best bets, no doubt about it.

Minni's returning a nice squad this year with Weber, Decker, and most of the team intact. Minnesota will be much improved from last year, this team has a lot of value. This game will be a double digit win.

I might get a little nuts week one with the Auburn game and sprinkle a little on ML. Might throw a bit on Nevada ML as well.

I also like the NC State pick also. They want to get their win this time since losing to USC, last year when they lost their QB early in the game. I will give USC points and roll with NC State. Cha-Ching!! I lift a cold Blue Moon to everyone for a strong year.

You could be right, but for me, any new QB going on the road in a season opener is NEVER a SAFE bet. I like the UNDER in this game.
