Here we are at it again LOL... Don't worry no 12 unit plays this week nothing will look as solid as Oregon did last week..After looking at the remaning schedules of the teams I would be surprised if I put more than 5 units on any other game this season.

Again I know I am sounding like a broken record but I would like to thank everyone who contributes positively here and just know I appreciate all of you.. We should be a team not enemies. The books are the enemies IMO.. Now let's do our best to defeat them this week.. I like some doggies this week so let's do this!!!

The Lobos aren't a bad team. They were right there to Missouri,defeated UTEP and played Wyoming to the end. With Utah you never know what you are going to get but are they really any good? Their claim to fame this season is beating TCU??? Utah has been blown out 3 times already this season.Utah also has 9 To's in their last 3 games. So we are getting 6 points versus a team that has been blown out 3 times and is mistake prone.. Let's do this..

All of the Lobos home games have been low scoring events as well which is good cause we are getting 6 points.. Home Doggie Baby!!!! Should be a close low scoring game..

I think this is a good matchup for the Bruins. When I saw this game I figured the spread would be +9.5 so seeing +14 is a pleasant surprise.. Notre Dame's strength is their offense and the Bruins have a defense that I believe to be more athletic and speedy than NDs offense. I don't see ND running up the score here and I don't think ND will be able to completely stop Cowan and Markey here. Cowan looked solid to me last week even though his stats were not impressive I was impressed with his poise and how he avoided mistakes. I think he will be able to avoid the key mistakes against this less than stellar ND defense.. UCLA has alot of talent and are too good to be given 14 points here and ND will not score more than 27 points here.. UCLA is a much better team than Purdue is and ND only defeated them by 14 @ home so let's see what is up.. If anything backdoor should be open considering how we are getting so many points here.. Pac-10 surprises here baby!!! Let's do this!!!


Also like Nebraska and will wait until I see +7 to wager on them..

Not only is the line due to Dr.Bob, but it is also because Cowan will have his voice back for the game.. UCLA is the right play in here guys. Even if it loses I still think it is the right play.. Does that make sense..

ucla +13 1/2 is a little bit of a touch and go situation for me but ucla has the advantage in all 3 of my comparison catagories.

when comparing ucla's rd games with nd's home games nd comes out on top of the scoring with nd 32.60, ucla 20.40. nd -12.20.
nd falls short of covering the 13 1/2 by 1.30. the advantage here does go to ucla but not by much as an added field goal by nd can make the difference in a 12 pt. as opposed to a 15 pt win. strictly by the numbers ucla has the small advantage

when comparing ucla's hm games with nd's rd games ucla gets the advantage with a score of ucla 24, nd 19.30. ucla is at -4.70 and the spread makes them +18.20. the abberant here is ucla is not at home and nd is not on the rd but if nd showed a winning score in this catagory then i would tend to think that nd has the better overal team strength and play. but strictly by the numbers showing here nd does not have that dominance over ucla in both rd and hm games showing that they might have trouble beating ucla at ucla.

when comparing all of ucla's games with all of nd's games my number gives me a final score of nd 24.60, ucla 22.90. nd has a slight winning edge of -1.70 and ucla has an 11.80 point edge in the spread coverage.

nd wins the scoring game in 2 of the 3 catagories while ucla wins in 1 of the 3 catagories and ucla beats the spread in all 3 catagories. nd will probably win, ucla is the spread play. nd has covered once this year but if you take em both off their last games then nd gets the cover by 1 point nd 29.80, ucla 15.40. nd -14.40

This game caught my eye when I seen the schedule for this week and your probably asking why this game.Well last year I had UAB -2 at Marshall and lost 20-19 but they had 2 blocked punts returned for TD's but had a 432-251 yard edge in this game.I dont think they forgot that this game cost them a bowl game last year and I think that had this game circled on the calendar and catch a Marshall team that is not real good on the road 0-4 already this yr and are 0-7 ATS in CUSA as away dogs.So with that being said this will be my biggest play this year so far on college football. 10 Units

I don't think your buddy is going to like this play. Not that I am backing Marshall (if 7.5 was still available I would), but I watched the Watson Brown Show, and have been following some of the local coverage of this, and this team is totally despondent after the way they lost last week. Don't get me wrong, Marshall sucks, but UAB might be in a very similar position to Michigan State against Illinois.
Not to mention that outside the state of North Carolina, UAB is the worst favorite in all of college football.
Anyway, good luck. Like I say, I don't have any action on this. Obviously hoping you win Neb, SMU, and UCLA.

As some of you know I have been waiting to get a good line on this game for 4 days. I wanted +7 but couldn't get it so I am somewhat happy with this line and juice.. Could of been worse. Not completely sold on the Longhorns I have my doubts about this team. Baylor scored 31 points against this defense last week.. Memorial Stadium and the 73,918 will be loud and should make it tough on Freshman McCoy and I could see some mistake made by him. I expect Taylor to have a better game with his crowd behind him and he seems like the more sound QB.. If I would of received +7 this would of been a 2 unit but since I didn't here we are.. This should be a close hard fought battle to the end...
