Regardless, if you got WISC congrats....but if you bet games like these all the time you'll find yourself on the losing side more times than not. Lot of the sharps were on Purdue today....most sharps I talked with either played Purdue or passed on this game.
No, BuddyBear you are in fact wrong about this one. "Sharps" were on Purdue so it was the "right play". If that makes sense to you then you might be in trouble. If Purdue was the right play, then the line would not have moved as much as it did.

I think you don't understand the conceptual distinction between "right" and "winning." You can have a team open up say -14 and they close -24 and you lay -24 you are on the "wrong" side b/c you've lost all value even though the game may have won for you. Sports gambling is a process and it's all about getting the best value for your money b/c that's going to lead to long-term winners. Trust me, in the long run plays like this will make you bankrupt.

Ok Buddybear you win...you were "right" today and I "won"

Dave obviously you aren't capable of understanding such an basic intellectual argument. Listen bro....you won yes you did congrats I live in Wisconsin I'll hear all about all week i am sure....but just b/c you won doesn't mean you were on the "right" side as counterintuitive as that seems. Games like this have trap written all over it...there will be games like this throughout the year...keep track of them and see how well they go. I can assure you will find yourself more times than not wondering how on earth team X lost or failed to cover....

First off, don't be a dousche bag it ruins your credibility when you make statements like this. CHIEF I definitely understand this game had trap written all over it. But, it was proven to be no such thing BUDDY. I agree that you can't make plays in trap games too many times on that side, but it was the right play today BRO. I know what your talking about, but I just don't agree with all of it all the time.

guys, as someone that saw this from the sidelines I don't think this was a very easy cover for Wisconsin...for someone like buddy who is a value better (much like myself), I can see how frustrated he was over the stalled drives and miscues by Purdue...I still have to watch the tape of this one as I tivo'd it, but everytime I checked gamecast they were driving or inside of Wisky territory...I think it's right for Purdue bettors to feel disgusted and Wisky backers to feel a bit fortunate here...just the way shit goes sometimes...GL guys...

I watched the entire game on TV and Purdue missed one FG and one turnover and still got their asses smoked. When a team like Wiscy can impose their will on the ground, totally dominate the line of scrimmage, I don't feel unlucky I lost with Purdue. I'm just pissed it wasn't 41-0 Wiscy at HT, so I wouldn't have bothered watching the rest of the game. Turnover margin was even, stats don't lie, and I only saw Purdue screw up those two drives in Wiscy's territory. Stocco had a few bad reads and few overthrows too. This was not a game where the Badgers played perfect and Purdue played horrible. The main thing that killed Purdue was their lack of efficiency on 3rd down, which can also be a testament to the defensive scheme the Badgers were running against them. Please watch the tape and tell me how I got "unlucky" with Purdue.

Didn't watch any of this game after the opening minutes, but I'm shocked at how low scoring it was. Purdue probably SHOULD have scored more, but, as far as them being the right side, I think that may be a bit of a reach.
Buddy is certainly right that the "smart money" was with the Boilers this week. Everything doesn't always go according to Hoyle though.

This is one game where 'sharps' over-thought themselves.
my gut, also, was wayyy incorrect for the 'badger egg'.

That's what happens when you think too much and get suspicious of a line. If it's in YOUR favor, then ride it, baby.
Me? I thought Purdue was going to win... I really did.
They played very badly against a better team.
I was wrong - hence - as always - fade my pick in college!@

"I had the right side of the game"..."Noooo my side was the correct play, you are all squares and will lose soon".

Excellent stuff, you might want to try sending that to GA.
    Lets see what they say?
