Default Going big on LSU and Wisconsin

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU kept Auburn scoreless and would be impressed if they managed a TD. Worst case scenario, final score of 42-14.

And the Wisconsin game is a joke. I see them beating Mich St. by 20.

    BOL to everyone!

I cant get out of my head what Notre Dame did to Michigan St..either taking Wisconsin or laying off..I have a hard time believing auburn scores more than 10 or so but giving up more than 3 touchdowns does scare me a little in a sec west tradional Rivalry game..having said that its either LSU or no play for me as well

Wisconsin is overrated and hasn't played any solid teams yet. I'll take Michigan St -9.5 big!

Wisconsin is a well balanced team with a GREAT offensive line. Michigan state will lose that game.

So terrible that Ohio State beat Illinois on the road while completing 1 pass... The same Illinois team that beat a good Arizona State team who was 1 missed fumble call from being right in a 4h quarter battle with Oregon...

I am always so baffled by people that ignore good defense... and speaking of Nebraska being over-rated (though I tend to think they are a tad bit under-rated) explain how they managed to gash Ohio State's good defense for all those points in the second half...

The fact is Nebraska scores over 37 pts per game and every single one of their past opponents won last weekend... Fresno beat a Utah State team should have beaten Auburn, Washington has lost only one game (to Nebraska) and we will find out more about them this week..., Wyoming is also looking like a potential bowl team this year after 4 wins and two lay-ups remaining against New Mexico and Colorado State still to come...

Could it just be that Wisconsin is really, really, really good???? like top 4 team in the country good and perhaps Nebraska is only very good?

Being in B1G country and watching many B1G games, I don't see how you can play MSU here. Wisky is better at every position on offense and the defenses are fairly equal. This could be very similar to the Nebraska/Wisky game, could be a 3+ TD blowout.

    Auburn +23 at Bodog.

That line is nuts. I'm thinking LSU buries the public this week.

I think it is so bold to say a worse case scenario for LSU and Auburn gm is a 28+ blow out to lsu... so best case is a 70+ point blow out... I would tread lightly... esp with that many points..

Auburn is basically the same team as Mississippi state (no pass game, decent run game) and they were nearly shutout (6 points) at home against LSU

LSU will score 30+ and likely hold Auburn to less than 10 points

Got $500 on LSU and $250 on Wisconsin so far. Waiting to cash cards tomorrow so I can juice more on Wisc. GL

Mich State had big win against Michigan last week, now they have to be emotionally ready for a really strong wiscy team. Strong lean to Wisconsin but would not want to lay more than 10 and line is heading in that direction.

No team is the same. You will learn that eventually.
I will take into account the series history before I started comparing Auburn and Miss state.
When is the last time Miss state won the NC?
When is the last time a team that won the NC the year before been a 23.5 point underdog to anybody?

agree. i have some concerns about Wisky's defense just because a lot of the competition has been so weak, but i have no doubts about their offense. i could see passing at giving two scores in East Lansing, but not taking MSU. for that matter, i wouldn't fade Bama, LSU, Wisky or Stanford right now.

As for the LSU game that's the safest bet you can make this weekend other than taking Bama and giving the -30 against Tennessee. Auburn is an absolute horrible team offensively and defensively. Take the only real, fairly rounded teams they have played Clemson and Arkansas...they lost and lost badly. South Carolina and Garcia did everything possible to give the game away(hmm....points shaving..how about game throwing?) and Florida just collapsed worse than I've ever seen by any team loaded with talent regardless of injuries and two inept coaches. I mean Auburn is bad but they are athletic enough that if you turn the ball over and give them enough busted plays they will turn them into points. They are already starting what is basically their 3rd string QB Clint Mosley because Trotter can't manage a ball game and Fraizer is still too inexperienced. I expect LSU's D to destroy any hopes Auburn has of moving the ball. This game could very easily look like Bama's 52-7 game against Ole Miss last weekend.

the 2010 auburn team would beat the 2011 Auburn team by 50 points

You have to evaluate a team on their current talent level, not what they did last year because of Cam Newton and Nick Fairly. The 2010 Auburn team will get sliced and diced against the real behemoths of the SEC (you saw it already with Arkansas, who shutdown Auburn despite not even having even a fraction of the defensive ability of LSU)

    AUBURN, Ala. (AP)

Clint Moseley is a small-town guy about to arrive in college football's bigtime.
The sophomore quarterback for No. 19 Auburn will make his first career start Saturday for the 19th-ranked Tigers at No. 1 LSU, a daunting debut that he's embracing.

''It couldn't get any better,'' Moseley said Tuesday. ''Aggressive defense. No. 1 team in the country. All the hype coming up to it. It's Death Valley. Yeah, it's a little nerve-racking, but at the same time how could you draw it up better?
''That's just the most dramatic situation you can think of. That's just awesome.''
Moseley is replacing Barrett Trotter, who started the first seven games but completed only eight passes in the last six quarters for the nation's 106th-rated pass offense. The 6-foot-3, 223-pounder from tiny Leroy, Ala., has attempted nine career passes and all four completions came when he took over in the second half of last weekend's 17-6 win over Florida.
The two battled to replace Cam Newton through spring practice and into preseason camp. When Trotter won out, Moseley called it ''the disappointment of my life'' and admitted it took him a few days to get over.
He faded from the picture for a while, though Chizik and offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn said throughout that he not the increasingly utilized freshman Kiehl Frazier remained the top backup.
Moseley watched as Trotter started and Frazier played in the Wildcat role. When Mosley didn't get in the game in an easy win over Florida Atlantic on Sept. 24, he went the next day to Chizik's office for a heart-to-heart.
Chizik said they talked for about 90 minutes about football and ''just about how to deal with different things in your life.''
''When he left my office that day, I felt like he was a little bit more comfortable with where he was at and a little more comfortable in his own skin,'' the coach said.
''I think it was a productive meeting. I've seen him over the last couple of weeks improve and just kind of altogether probably come to grips with other things: being the quarterback at Auburn or being the backup or starter or whatever it may be. Just the challenges that come with it.''
Challenge No. 1 as starter: Take on a playmaking LSU defense that ranks fourth nationally in total defense. And do it possibly without Auburn's injured two top receivers, Emory Blake and Trovon Reed, who Chizik said are ''50-50'' for the game.

New-style or old-style, uniforms are the talk of the town. Here are some of the most distinctive.

Tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen said he feels Moseley will be the quarterback ''probably the rest of the season.''
''I feel comfortable with either guy back there,'' Lutzenkirchen said. ''And I think everyone on the offense feels the same way.''
All in all, it's heady stuff for a kid who's virtually unknown outside the state. Moseley wasn't particularly highly recruited out of Leroy High School and a town of about 1,000 residents even though he was named Alabama's high school player of the year. When Auburn offered him a scholarship a few months before national signing day, his suitors were schools like UAB, Marshall, Arkansas State and South Alabama
His biggest previous game was the state championship in Class 2A, Alabama's second-smallest classification. Now, it's soon to be LSU in front of 92,000 raucous fans.
''It's not that big of an adjustment,'' Moseley said straight-faced. ''Sulligent was pretty fast defensively. They had some d-linemen, I think their biggest one was about 220 pounds. It won't be that big of an adjustment.''
    Then he smiles broadly.
''OK, maybe it's the best defense that I might possibly ever face,'' Moseley said. ''That's why you come to Auburn. That's why you play in the SEC. That's why you have the big dreams.
''What bigger stage could I possibly play on? To get to start on it, I'm so blessed.''

we will see how excited he is to face the tigers when LSU sacks him 4 times and forces him to throw 2 or 3 INTs

Hey retard I said they are basically the same kind of team - running team without a pass game and a mediocre defense. You should evaluate the stats for both teams, they are very similar....the only difference is that Auburn has pulled out a few close games while MSU has lost all it's close ones

LSU will win this game by 28+ points, you can keep fading the best team in the country like a fukking idiot or take the free money Vegas keeps handing out this college football season

You would argue with a brick wall wouldn't you?
Yeah like I said they are not the same team. Glad you agree with me that they are not.
Where did you get the impression that I have been fading the best team in the country? I have backed LSU almost everygame this year so far.
Are all your stats this miscued , or were you dropped repeatedly when you were a baby causing the fatty swelling around your eyebrows to discombobulate your brain functions?
Yeah vegas will keep handing free money all year long, things wont change, and its way easier than you think to win, thats why so many people are successful at betting and nobody ever loses.
How did that "all my picks in one thread" work out for you?
    Lose your a$$?
    Thought so.

Hey fukktard, my college football record is impeccable this year - 10-2 my last 12 posted plays and about 78% winning percentage for the season

and I didn't say Vegas will keep handing out money all season, the lines will get sharper at 1 point you gotta think but this game does NOT have a sharp line. LSU is no less than 28 points better than Auburn

10-2 in your last posted 12 probably means you went 2-10 the 12 before that. If you had them all in one thread, I would be more inclined to believe that you have "about a 78% winning percentage". BUT being that you don't really know the %, its probably more like 38%.

I have to say on paper comparing stats from this year''s teams to each other LSU looks like a blowout team against auburn. But stats and paper can be meaningless with an intense rivalry such as this one.
Good luck to you. We shall see saturday.
I am on Auburn +22, but I do not always win.
