If you haven't heard, Bob Stoops has been aproached that once the title game is complete, he will be offered the head coaching job in Denver.

Another report is that Bob Stoops told Denver he will not be talking to anyone about any NFL job untill his team completes the bowl game - and that Denver has already set up a time to meet with him next week, but it's not guarenteed he will be offered the job.

Sounds good because he's a big name, but not the right fit. He's sooner defense is horrible, and that's not what the Broncos need. We need someone who can coach Defense too!

Denver beat writer was just on Denver Sports midday, and he said the same thing that has been reported. Stoops is very high on the Broncos list.

Spagnulo, the Giants defensive coordinator is being interviewed as well. In my opinion, he would be a perfect fit to turn around Denver's atrocious defense. In a couple years, Denver would be a force.
