ML NC State and Virginia Tech. Not even sure why these two are underdogs in these games.

I agree on Northwestern, but I'll take 13.5. I'd prefer 2 TD's, but I think they could possibly beat Mizzou.

Georgia will destroy Mich St. Georgia has the front 7 to shut down Ringer, and when they do...It gets real ugly relying on Hoyer and thier passing game. See Ohio St. 45 Mich St. 7

Why could they not stop Georgia Tech's option then?

I will say the option plays a bit different than a power I BIG 10 style run offense...but no opinion on this game so far...also I posted all the totals too-so check that out. I'm usually not much of a totals person, but I'd be willing to listen to any arguments on why you like an under or an over.

Mich St. runs a Power I, much easier for Georgia to defend than the option.

Wouldn't it be best to just stay away from the game though?

    Slick,

Sorry bud. Got in there a minute early. That happens sometimes.

    dle,

Michigan St. didn't play very well down the stretch, so my lean would be Georgia without looking too much into it. Georgia Tech is a good football team, and I wouldn't knock the Bulldogs too much for that loss. Remember Georgia/Hawaii last year? Maybe the Dawgs get up for bowl games...I'm not the authority on Georgia football though, so it's mere speculation at this point.

They have talent and I think the public goes 80% their way with that small of a line, I just don't think I would let them play on my money after the season they just had. Use that extra unit on Nebraska ML or something. Seems like a trap game in Orlando.

Funny you should say that. I almost got swayed over to Bama last week too. ALMOST.

VTech moneyline looks good, but Im willing to bet that line swings the other way within a week or so.

LSU moneyline looks good as of now.

Boston College -4 or moneyline not quite sure as of now, probably moneyline because I doubt I get it without buying points at -2.5.

    Cal vs Mia ov 49.5

Notre Dame moneyline, though I doubt they stay the underdog even though the games in Hawaii's backyard.

All subject to change due to line movement, plus there is noway Im putting money out there with most games atleast 3 weeks away, too much can happen.

Love Hawaii -2, they had cincy beat and let em off the hook. Notre Dame against Syracuse and USC........ehhhh. Could be a rout.

    Nebraska's losses:
    Virginia Tech by 5
Missouri (when they were undefeated, ranked #3)
Texas Tech by 6 in OT at Lubbock
    Oklahoma in Norman

They lose to teams that should beat them and beat teams that they should beat. Joe Ganz might be the most underrated QB in the nation. He has thrown for 3300 yards, 23 TDS (10 INTs) and has a QB rating of 156. Tell from Rutgers has 300 less yards, a lower QB rating and more picks.

People are fluffing Rutgers because they covering spreads against the Big East squads. Last week they beat Louisville 63-14. Sounds great, doesn't it? Then you realize Louisville had one conference win all season and that diminishes that trumping.

Big XII team that is 8-4
    or
Big East team that is 7-5

I'll fade the latter any day of the week.

    Rutgers losses:
    Fresno State by 17
    North Carolina by 32
Navy, WVU, Cincinnati in close games

I thought Vegas would give the Rutgers 4-5 points. I think giving Nebraska 7 points in cash in the bank, no doubt.

Are Nebraska and Rutgers playing each other? I'm confused...maybe I just read your post wrong.

NC State has been playing great but so has Rutgers. This line may be inflated a little since everyone watched Rutgers hang 63 on a horrible Louisville defense. The new qb has really sparked NC State but I think this a solid number and a no play. Love your Rice and Va Tech picks. Rice should cover that with ease.

Any thoughts on the Ball St/Tulsa line? Tulsa getting points in this one seems like an easy pick. Ball St, in my opinion has been overrated all year. While Tulsa isn't great, they should get an outright win by at least a touchdown.

It's so hard for teams to go to the island and beat Hawaii, even this year when the team is in a huge transition mode. Aloha Stadium will be electric for that game. Getting a program like Notre Dame on your home field for a bowl game is huge. I think Hawaii plays way above themselves and covers Notre Dame. I was thinking this game would open with Notre Dame -3 or so. Was a little surprised to see Hawaii as the favorite but with you on the Warriors either way.

I thought Nebraska was playing Rutgers.

Ignore everything I just said. I have no idea why I got that idea in my head. I was going to put a ton of cash on that one.

    Sorry, guys.

Ball St./Tulsa is a no-play for me right now. Initially I think you have a point about Ball St. being a bit over-rated, but they only lost one game all year...probably why they are favored. The game being in Alabama probably means a bigger crowd for Tulsa, and Ball St. losing to Buffalo maybe points to them not being ready for the bright lights. I don't have a strong opinion on this one either way.

    Just to clear it up.

I think NC State (+7) over Rutgers and Nebraska (+3) over Clemson are strong plays this bowl season as far as underdogs. No idea why I was confusing the match ups.

BYU just hasn't done it for me this year. I never got on board with them. Arizona has had so many ups and downs this year, you never know what will happen with them. But I think they are a better team and should win that game by double digits. GL though.
TCU plays great defense but Boise always seems to find a way to win. This is one of the most interesting bowl games that not many people will be talking about. Could go either way and will be fun to watch. One problem could be that Boise doesn't get up for this game since it feels like it should be in a BCS game. I think Boise would pound Utah on a neutral field. On another note, Alabama by 20+ over Utah in New Orleans.
Thank god USC has a defense or they would have lost at least 3 games this year instead of 1. That offense is dreadful. While they should hold Penn St's O in check, I don't know how well Sanchez will move the ball against the Lions. Would lean Penn St with the points but GL.
Really like Ole Miss in this spot with the points. Money line would be a nice cash too. They have such great athletes and Houston Nutt has done a tremendous job there. That program is on the way up. Should be a great matchup that comes down to the wire.

Like the plays. Will def tail you on a few of these. GL
