Yeah I like Hawaii at the moment.They'll be fired up to play NDame at home and you know ND will be uninspired in this game as they were talking about turning the bowl game down.I hope ND is favs by 8 or more.I'll be all over the Warriors.I really like the Oregon-Okla st matchup alot.

Yeah, I saw this today too. REALLY interesting that they are making Notre Dame fly all the way to Hawaii to play this thing. Notre Dame is the better team though, right? What's the line? Does anyone know? I'm not saying I would put a play on the Irish, but this looks like a real set-up.

I'm a Notre Dame fan and I never ever take them. But the line is opening @ Hawaii -2 ...... I'm leaning Notre Dame here to win by Double Digits. It's not like a regular week where they have to fly out there and play right away. They have so much time to prepare for them and Hawaii is one dementional on offense for the most part. Another thing is that there are a lot of Seniors on this Notre Dame team especially on Defense and for the most part they really like Charlie Weis. I they get the win for their coach. And Notre Dame breaks the Bowl game losing streak.

You guys underestimate how over their heads Hawaii plays at home. This is a home game for them and they will come to play. They are a very tough team to beat at home just ask cincy. There's no way they should've been within 21pts of cincy but playing at home gives them and extra team boost. As a fan of Nevada we have to deal with these clowns and their fans and their lucky charms every other year in HI so I am familiar with their home mystic.
ND will lose this game because they 1)dont care (especially if they are thinking of turning down the game 2) they would rather be on the beach drinking mojitos 3) they think they are above being in a game playing Hawaii because they are the high and mighy ND so they wont take them seriously. If you want to take a chance on this game take Hawaii because they are complete overachievers at home and are will trying to prove themselves as a worthy opponent as they wont take ND lightly.

Cincy got lucky as **** agaisnt Hawaii, Hawaii should have won that game, im feeling Hawaii here too, especially showing that win at home against Nevada, Nevada is an underestimated team but the terps are gonna beat the **** outa them. maryland usually plays well in bowls they lost last year by 7 because of a stupid turnover but they were i believe 7.5 point underdogs, previous years dominated purdue in pick em game and KILLED tennessee and west va. Fridge always gets them boys ready, finally da'rell scott will be healthy, and terps are taking more adn more advantage of heyward bey each game, terps come to play as underdog and rape Nevada on a long cold night  |

I am not sure where you guys heard that Notre Dame was considering turning this bowl game down. That was not the case at all. Notre Dame was offered spots in several different bowls.
They were supposedly offered spots in the armed forces bowl in fortworth and the independence bowl in shreveport as well as the hawaii bowl and CHOSE the sheraton hawaii bowl.
Also , while there is always a chance that notre dame kids treat it like vacation , what do you think cincinnati was doing in their finale when their bcs game was already wrapped up ? That game was almost meaningless to cincinnati and had hawaii not committed so many cheap shots to wake the bearcats up , the warriors would have won.

Notre Dame doesn't belong in a bowl game. Based on their play this year they don't deserve it. I'm sure some string got pulled because of the huge Fighting Irish nation. But seriously, Notre Dame as a bowl team. That would be like putting Michigan in.

The reason why they got offered bowl game after bowl game is because they kept turning them down.They decided to go to Hawaii so they could be on vacation.Must be a Dame fan.Hawaii will beat their asses!

Come on now.... if you are going to post something atleast make sense. Notre Dame did EXACTLY what is required to play in a bowl.... win 6 games. No strings were pulled. lol Michigan won 3 games. So how is would that be the same?

As far as this being a HOME game for Hawaii........ yes, it's at Hawaii. BUT I am willing to bet the fans will be 50/50... if not more for ND. Notre Dame travels VERY well. That is why the Gator Bowl wanted them BAD! All ND had to do was beat Syracuse at home and they would have been in the Gator bowl. Lucky for Nebraska ND lost.
As far as betting on the game, I'm still not sure. ND has not done well in bowl games lately, and we aren't sure how serious they are taking this game. ND started off 5-2 and really fell apart at the end. Hawaii was 7-6 and lost to San Jose St at home! I would say ND has the better athletes....... but the better athletes dont always win. RIGHT USC?? |
