    Default Buffalo anyone?

    Obviously you know where im going with this as Im about to throw down on UB.

    I think James Starks runs wild tomorrow night and Willy gets a chance to show what he is all about. This team has been gritty all year and been on the winning side of many close games. Because they lost to Kent State last week I think a lot of people are sleeping on them and expect them to roll over for the mighty Ball State.

    This game is being played at Forde Field on the Turf. UB is a Turf team so I expect the Bulls timing to be consistent to what it has been all year. Will Ball State's timing be off just hair? Are they getting a little to full of themselves? Is it possible for Nate Davis to have an off night? Will UB get a little respect? Im banking on it and taking the +16.

    If im way off here - please let me know

    Not a play for me yet. But I actually lean UB. I like UB defense to keep it close.

    UB's Defense. What defense?? I haven't seen Buffalo play a lick of defense all season. Maybe you saw something I didn't see!!

    UB's defense is on par with most MAAC defense's so take that for what it is worth...not as good all Ball States D but im expecting them to play a little over thier heads tonight and BS to be a hair off. Ball State has been too good for me this year - time to change it up a bit.

    UB has a scoring margin overall of only +29 or so
    Ball state has scoring margin of +252

    ball state actualy has a defense worthy of mention, UBs defense
    has been the weak link all season which means pressure is on their
    offense to keep up all nite with ball state
    UB gives up over 160 ypg rushing on the ground, ball state avgs almos 200 on the ground
    buffalos had a surprising season n come in with lot of motivation but its clear cut whos the better team n it will show
    i give ball st the edge

    ya buffalo has stepped up their game and they are getting better but they still need a few more years to compete with this years ball state team....GL everyone

    I don't think you are way off at all. Going from my numbers, I would not take Ball St. to cover more than 14. I have the O/U at 54 too.

    Hopefully this line gets to 17 or at least 16.5 so I can buy the 1/2 pt. I think this could be a close high scoring game. Definitely like the Over and Buff. in the first half.

    Default I'm with you for an odd reason...

    Common opponents mainly C. Michigan.

    Buffalo has found a way to stay close in virtually every game it has been in. The only exception was the high powered Missouri team which had been so highly touted.

    What I see in Buffalo is a team that can find a way to hang in with virtually anyone. That is an intangible quality.

    Ball St. has looked awfully smart. Absolute covering machines. It makes this a wonderful betting proposition. I am taking 15.5 early. I don't see another point making a diff here...BOL.
