    Default Boise St./Bowling Green 9/21

Boise St. -7.5 and Bowling Green ... The over/under on that game is a WHOPPING 77.5, the largest I can recall ... Any takers?

Opened at -8.5 and 73, but I'm stil leaning toward Boise. Hawkins and crew have an insane ATS record at home over the last 3 years or so.

We will definitely be playing over, and probably Boise St. Here is my initial write-up of the game:

Boise St. -7.5 and Over 77.5 vs. Bowling Green
Bowling Green QB Jacobs has thrown for 886 yards and 10 touchdowns in two games. Though the Boise offense, namely QB Zabransky, struggled in opener versus Georgia, they righted the ship against Oregon St, putting up 30 points and moving the ball at will. Bowling Green’s defense can’t stop anybody, and Boise‘s is only slightly better. Check out these point totals given up so far - BG - 56, 31 (the latter came against a Ball St. team that has scored a total of three points in their two other games). Boise - 48, 33. Both teams come in off a bye week.
Boise has covered last two home games by 25 ppg, and will be anxious to get their first win this season in convincing fashion.
Prediction: Boise St. 61, Bowling Green 42

I got down on Bowling Green +8. I'm staying away from the total here. Way too many points there!

6-0 after one quarter. looks good for my under 77.5 so far but unfortunately most here took the over. ahh well there are still 3 quarters to go.

Zabransky playing horribly. Missed two TDs, that wheel route to Carpenter should have been a TD, the the bad underthrow into the endzone. Hope they can get a big play soon; they need the momentum after dominating and only having a 6-0 lead to show for it. Now they don't even have that, lol.

I had over 75.5...i was actually rooting for it to go under b/c i would have been pissed if it landed on 75 due to a missed extra point. BSU did their part...BG didn't do theirs. All they needed to do was make it a little more competitive and it would have been a track meet. I was suprised that that BSU ran it so much and it still almost went over which was suprising. Tough way to start the week.

    Good job though picantel!

thanks. I was feeling bad after boston blew it and then the cubs blew it but most of my money was on the boise game and I unloaded everything on boise 2nd half and about fainted when they muffed that punt.

Well all's well that ends well...nice way to get the NCAAF week going for. Now I'll have to play catch up this weekend. What are you leaning for this weekend? Not sure if you have been posting your plays...but I am sure everyone here would be interested in seeing!

Good luck the rest of the way though picantel!

heh I am not really good at this. I only play here and there and am only playing more because it is kinda fun to play with you guys. I have about 1% of the knowledge you guys do. Horses are usually my thing. I am probably gonna crank N. Illinois this weekend and the rest I am debating. I may take a break because in 2 days my family is going to disneyworld so I will not be around to watch the games.

I'm a sucker for horse racing picks if you ever want to post any. Nice call on the under. I was frankly amazed by the happenings when Bowling Green had the ball.

Waiting for meadowlands. That is the real track to bet(I prefer harness). I got really lucky with the under bet.

No, it wasn't lucky. It was more that Boise's defense was geared up for this game and stifled the BG offense until the game was well in hand. I told someone I was watching the game with that Boise might have to score 63 or 70 for the game to go over. While they probably could have, the game was such a rout that they concentrated on running clock.
