Pags, tcu did you absolutely no favors today. I had the displeasure of having watched the whole game. What a disgusting display of incompetence. I was very underwhelmed and came away with the opinion that tcu is a very, very overrated team, even by MWC standards.

Marcus Jackson is incredibly careless with the football, and doesn't seem to understand the importance of "managing" a football game. The team as a whole was very sloppy and undisciplined, committing numerous personal foul penalties. Although the scoreboard shows a 13-7 tcu win, CSU dropped two touchdowns on one drive, and at least two more big-gainers come to mind that were also dropped that ended up drive-killers.

IMO, tcu should seriously reconsider their QB situation.

They are not overated. I think they were victims of the "look ahead" factor as next week they play BYU at home. I don't know what Pags thinks, but I think TCU at home against BYU could be a very good bet. TCU could be a home dog in this matchup as well . . . .

Don't beat yourself up over the LSU game. On paper, recruit and talent-wise, they really should have the best O and D lines in the nation... but as we both saw through the first 3 weeks, "on paper" can go to hell sometimes.

I know you take a ton of pride in this like I do, and losing weeks are never really consolable. But fortunately I had Idaho late and you had Hawaii late to stop the bleeding a little.

The best capping job I did this week wasn't Florida, Arkansas, or Idaho; it was that this week would be a total mess. Next week we'll have our chance to strike back.

We went a combined 14 - 1 last week and 6 - 9 this week... Team Pags/Dave is still okay in my book
