Default Tulane will cover against ECU, maybe even win. . .

East Carolina has been very impressive knocking off two ranked teams in back to back weeks. I love this ECU team but i think this week spells trouble. Their is no way skip holtz will be able to get his team up like he did for their two home games against big time opponets.

Neither Va Tech or West V are that good this year anyway.

Tulane would of beat Bama if not for two special team touchdowns, in tusculsa. Tulane has a solid defense and should be able to keep this game close to the end. They are coming into this matchup feeling very confident after the bama game and they are back home. ECU will come into this game flat and they are not used to playing as the favorite nor being ranked in the top 15.

Play tulane +13

Yes Yes this play will definetely be one of my final plays for the weekend! This is a trap. ECU will play down to there competition. Also Tulane is a solid football team that lost to bama because of special teams!

Yeah, I love Tulane dating back to the Shawn King days when they went undefeated. I want to convince myself to take the Green wave but damn... so hard! If ECU plays someone tough next week then maybe they will over look this game and that will sell me on it.

Nope they play NCST next week. If I am up come time for that game Ill put a lil something on it.. GL

Definitely a letdown week for ECU. Tulane is pretty bad this year but they probably will cover. I wasn't going to play this game but I think I've been convinced otherwise

You're an idiot... They scored an offensive touchdown and extra point and Tulane only scored 6 points... If not for 2 special teams TD's Alabama still wins 7-6....

IMO,

The game would of been played differently. . . Play calling changes in a 7-6 game as opposed to an 20-6 game. . .

Bama blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown and then they return a punt for a touchdown. . .

THe point is they were held to 172 yards and only 11 first downs. . .

the same offense that lit up clemson for 340+

Your input is appreicated as well

What do those guys coming back this weekend have anything to do with ECU?

We might not cover the 13, but after last years meltdown to Marshall this team will remained focused. Tulane will have to bring their A game if they want to pull out a win here. If you want a letdown game wait for the following week at NC State that would be a better spot for an upset.

I dont see it either ECU DE C.J. Wilson was on Espn Chat today he said Skip Holtz has them focused to avoid the letdown. They may only win by a touchdown or so but losing outright I doubt it.

Skip Holtz coming to coach SU...Greg Robinson set to resign in week 5. You heard it here first.

Watch this ECU team get turned on its head in the next couple weeks when this starts to leak amongst players

ECU will take care of Tulane, look this is a non-BCS conference team, they have to play week in and week out in hopes to make a BCS game. I got to believe they will be ready to play.

I heard Skip was going to Clemson last week....I also heard if South Carolina losses this weekend they are going to offer him a job....Now he is going to Syracuse in Week 5 ....It's going to be interesting to see how Skip coaches 4 different teams.
I'll be watching for this to "leak amongst the players" great inside tip. Skip has way too much class to leave mid-season....he is King in Greenville, he has realistic expectations here, why would he go to Clemson for a few extra dollars and deal with those uneducated arrogant fans? Or Syracuse please, he would have taken the Duke job if he was looking to take over a program that was never going anywhere. If he losses 2 games @ Clemson they will be calling for his head just like with Tommy Bowden. Do I think he might change jobs after this season, if the situation is right maybe.(Notre Dame) After last years bowl win everyone said the same thing, I heard everything from Arkansas to West Virginia to Hawaii. I guess it's fun for some fans to dream but until Skip holds a press conference with Terry Holland in Greenville, North Carolina and he says, "I'm leaving the East Carolina University Pirates" it's all trash to me.

He also just signed a 6 year extension:
With the 3rd largest university in the state, and the fastest growing university in the state with more than 27,900 students, don't forget we have money too.

East Carolina Head Football Coach Skip Holtz, who has led the Pirates to two bowl appearances and consecutive winning seasons for the first time since the 1999 and 2000 campaigns, has agreed to tentative terms of a proposed contract that would help secure his position through the 2013 season according to an announcement from ECU Director of Athletics Terry Holland Tuesday.
Specific details of the proposed six-year contract, which also includes a modified incentive and bonus structure, cannot be released until final approval by the East Carolina University Board of Trustees.
"The proposed agreement recognizes and rewards Coach Holtz for all he and his family have done for ECU Athletics and the entire community," Holland said. "It is our intention to encourage them to stay with us a long, long time."

Arghhhhh!!!
