Due to my betting on NFL this weekend, they gave me $50 in casino chips and I decided to check out blackjack.

I started out with $5 bets.

Hand 1 - blackjack
Hand 2 - blackjack
Hand 3 - up bet to $25, bust
Hand 4 - back to $5, blackjack

yeah, interesting how it only happened on the smaller bets, but I've played a lot of online blackjack, rarely for real money, and I haven't had this before.

I just used my $50 casino bonus... I like to grind out their bonuses... If you bet $1 per hand at the end of the rollover of $2000 you'd have $30 free bucks. (assuming a 1% edge for the house)
In 350 hands... I've never seen such sick bull shit in my life. I lost 24/29 double attempts! (and I am playing with basic strategy (and yes, I keep track of all hands...I'm anal about records) nearly half of those doubles were 11 or 10 against a dealer 6! I've never seen so many small cards come off a deck in my life, just overall, every single hand. I don't gamble (hence why I'll grind out small amounts of money from their casino bonuses they give me) but please... at least take me out to dinner if you're gonna rape me! with a 1% edge I still should have 46.50 at this point... but I have 0.

I think the fix is in

I've beaten their casino bonuses every time... grinding out $125.90 in pure profit all while playing +EV Blackjack (given that they are giving out 100% match casino bonuses constantly).

All I'm saying is, given standard deviation, I highly doubt that many random chances out of 10,000 happen to end a $50 bonus at $1 a hand in only 350 hands. (and that's technically not 350 hands...that's actually $350 wagered, IE on doubles that's $2, etc)

It should take on average $5000 worth of hands with a 1% edge.

So...riddle me that! (and the site I use for basic strategy, you can enter the rules of the casino into the chart to make a customized table for those rules; they actually say with BoDog's house rules they only have a .03% edge... which I don't really believe... but that's what it says. So I assumed a 1% edge for the house anyway to make sure all the bonuses I do are +EV even at 1% house edge...)

I just turned the $50 bonus into $105 and cashed out after meeting the rollover. $1 dollar bets. I am now officially sick of blackjack.

I too played basic strategy and had no unusual circumstances with double downs or splits. Then again it was all just a blur.

Ok, so maybe I Martingaled a little and started doubling up after 5 straight losses.

The online games are very sketchy. If the dealer shows a bust card you can bet its hole card is a number that equates the hand to 11. Better hit anyway.

I actually made it through the 40x rollover playing a dollar a hand. It wasn't easy, and with $500 left I ended up getting impatient and went from $250 down to $60 before I could cash it out. At least I got to play some blackjack and made out with something though.
