Default Why is the SBR casino rigged?

If we are indeed, as it seems so very obvious to so very many of us, being scammed every time we enter the SBR casino, then why has this problem not been adjusted? Or better yet, why has this issue never been acknowledged by any of the SBR staff? If a moderator were to make a post acknowledging that the odds are skewed and that the casino only exists for fun and should not be thought of as legitimate, then I would be happy. But the way it is presented we expect it to be a real casino with real odds. That isn't to suggest we should be able to use it as a long term money-maker, no casino is a long term money-maker, but it shouldn't be a flat out point stealer.

I'll admit I'm a bit of a sucker for blackjack, and have played it at real casinos, and more recently, at SBR's casino. I can only conclude that the amount of 20s, and out of nowhere 21s that the dealer hits in SBR's casino is not only surprising, but ridiculous. Doubling up also feels like a lost cause about 80% of the time. The reason I continue to bet on it is because I would like to believe it's legitimate, I would like to believe there will be some hot days that will even everything out, but they just aren't happening. The more I play the more I am convinced that at the very least SBR blackjack is significantly rigged.

Most of this will not be news to most of you. There are already countless threads complaining about the Casino, and the common argument seems to be "hell, they give us the points, they can steal them back if they want", but this is illogical. SBR is supposed to be community. The site keeps track of illegitimate books so we can avoid them, and we can get the best bang for our buck. Meanwhile right here in our own backyard were getting robbed of our incentives for posting, our loyalty payments for staying with SBR.

This month has been a rough patch for me that has forced me to reexamine my betting habits. Though points may seem meaningless to many, they're still a gamble, and the way we use them can hint to how we manage our real money. With that in mind I've decided I'm done spending points at the casino and probably the sportsbook. I'll let them pile up for a while, until something is changed, or the problem is at least addressed publically by SBR. I suggest you do the same.

    Happy betting.

Here is my $0.02 on the casino

I do not believe it is rigged to be honest.

There is a large difference in playing brick and motor blackjack and Online blackjack - In a B&M casino the deck is not shuffled every hand while in a online casino it is...

You do not play up to 600 hands an hour in a B&M casino but you do online...so you see 10x more action.

If you are not playing with a properly funded bankroll...at least 100 units of your bet size then of course you can not survive the down streak and cash in on the up's(you never said how many points you have been losing).

As for the magic 21's the dealer pulls over your 20's....well yeah you will do the same thing to the dealer all the time as well but gamblers(myself included) tend to focus only on the negative hands.

And SBR has 0 reason to rig the casino anyway...the rules will always benefit them in the end.....they might have losing days at the casino but they will always win in the end due to the house edge...a sportsbook watchdog agency would not dare to be caught rigging their games...their credibility would be shot overnight.

I have played on the DGS software in many different casinos over the years and I am comfortable playing it for the blackjack and roulette...seems no different at SBR then it is at bookmaker which I had a awesome run at one night($10 up to $500)..

I am sure there are plenty of people who have nice runs at the casino but do not come here singing it's praises...

It's just my opinion and I have played probably close to 25-30k hands on the blackjack since it came online.

Thats it totally correct...with the amount of hands per hour online...and the continuous shuffle and lack to count any cards the odds play out quicker...i wouldnt say its rigged..it is just easier to aproach the house edge quicker than in the casino.

rigged, just ask yourself why they would make it fair, they do not have to stay within any regulations and it is their best way to get back points so they can continue to promote and give out future points

lol it is so comical, the dealer just went 19-21-21-20-18-18-21-21-20-21 on me haha I just play for fun and laugh it off.

Quite possible. Though ignorance is not an excuse, as any court of law will tell you.

the casino is definitely rigged, it's the same one BetUS used for years.
perhaps someday SBR can purchase a new casino software. I doubt they will.
there are free unrigged casino programs out there all over the place. you can just get any disc or downloadable program for casino games at download.com and none of those are rigged but the ones at the sportsbooks and online casinos are all rigged beyond any shadow of doubt.

i have to say i was doing quite well in the casino. as long as you know how to play the games well and know when to switch to a different game. as soon as the tide turns after you've won 20-40%, switch.
the multi-player blackjack however especially lately is not as fair as it used to be. i know it's programmable from the inside. when a poster i think it was givemeabj had a strat going there, jjgold said he was going to change the settings so it wouldn't work anymore. best to resist the temptation for multiple hands and play one of the other blackjacks. if multi then make sure to use the surrender feature when appropriate it will keep you alive. with let it ride and carribean stud you can't hang around either, if you are going to hit you will hit early. the video pokers are not worth playing and the best slot by far is touchdown slots. trick on that one is to play 1 and if no pay in 3 spins then increase to 2, hit, retreat back to 1. never play american roulette.. european is better with only 1 zero.
the craps has strange results.. meaning the rolls are not similar at all to what a true die would be, in accordance with true dice roll odds. that makes the craps program unplayable with a traditional craps strategy.

i am still thankful for it because it provides a casino outlet without losing real money.. you can't play casino for money anywhere online that is not rigged in this country. live-camera casinos are not available to US players as far as i know.

like 5 of the books I have seen use this exact same software. It is not SBR, it is the software, sbr did not write these programs. It is just as rigged here as it is on bookmaker or any other book. Just stay away from it. That simple. Google blackjack and play a free unbiased program somewhere else to feed the urge. Dont throw your points away.

Not true casino odds. It's a way for sbr to win some of their points back.

I played a lot of blackjack and yeah SBR is the worst easily. Honestly I dont see the point of it ie Why as a forum would you offer your members a losing proposition? Why would members give anything back worthwhile when theyre treated like rabbits with a carrot on a stick dangling in front of it. The love you take is equal to the love you make.

i won 4 pts on blackjack and on roulette and i did it playing like i rigged software, as many online casinos are. for example : i had 16 or 17 and i hit becose dealer had 6. then it came 4(i think) and i had total of 20. dealer had then 10er. If i didnt hit dealer would had 21 or 20 and won. the other hand on a 2handed BJ i had to bust the one hand same way to safe the other one as i knew otherway dealer would had a BJ or a 20. But same way other casinos have. So you decide if its rigged or not.

If it's actually rigged and most people think it is what does that say about those who continue to go into it.

For the shot in the dark that you may win something worth anything at the store? What else is there to do with the points?
