i'm not sure of the effect on the house edge.

Me neither, but the game doesn't let u bet multiple hands at a time (like their multihand bj) and they seem to reshuffle on every deal so I suspect the effect on the house edge is minimal.

i asked the wizard of odds guy and i asked a couple of places if someone could run a sim. no response yet.

Not many people know what "Spanish 21" is, let alone "Spanish Blackjack" which is what they call theirs... and considering the house edge effect may be really thin, I don't share the obsession about making them change it.

I wouldn't get my hopes too high. If they are using 1-deck that means the super bonus never gets paid, granted. BUT, according to wizardofodds "the Super Bonus lowers the house edge by 0.030% in a six-deck game, and 0.036% in an eight-deck game" which is pretty darn miserable. You get much more than that (as a player) with the game being 1-deck, which has been my point all along and the reason I regret this thread.

There is also another possibility..

This could be a 6 deck Spanish 21 that doesn't draw same suited card in the same hand. Either software error or made like that.. IF thats the case, the edge gets flipped right back to the house even more..

no reason to regret it because no one has done anything about it and no one will.
