Default Is this possible in real life casino?

Today I played online casino. I played only on blacks and everytime I lost, I raised my stake and here's how it ended - reds. all the time reds, 14 times in the row.
After 14'th red, I turned it off.

I never played roulette in real life so I want to ask you, is this possible?

14 times in a row is possible, but rare. I tried it in the SBR casino. I should have known better.

odds are astronomical but it can happen. Funny thing is it seems to happen quite often in online casinos. Go figure.

Anything is possible... that's why they call it gambling I guess .

I've been in a casino and have seen 13 reds in a row. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

I've seen the whole board one color before and have seen 5 in a row 0 or 00 and 4 in a row same number before. Anything is possible. That's why gambler's fallacy and martingale betting kill people. The next roll is independent of what happened in the past.

I tried this once and lost a bunch too....they probably program the software to detect that you are attempting to Martingale......end result - get ready to be .

Has anyone ever won money, or broken even Martingale-ing at the SBR casino?

It is possible in real life casino too. People feel that the online roulette is cheating, because online they can spin faster, especially if you select the turbo spin function. LEt's say 14 black in a row happens once out of 10000 (just guessing), you can run into that 1 special event much faster with turbo spins than with the 1 spin per 2 minutes rate of live casinos. That is, rare things when everything happens faster become usual, and that's why many people feel that online roulette is cheating. But it is not cheating. Of course an RNG roulette will never be the same as a live roulette, but it is not cheating by default. Of course it can be set to cheat definately, accoarding to my experiences there are casinos online where the roulette doesn't cheat.

Martingale is not effective on the long run anyway. If you play that, I suggest do it with large bets, and play only for a short time, and then, quit. This way you can earn a nice amount, yet you don't stay too much, and may avoid meeting the loosing spin. It is definately not the strategy that one should play constantly for a long time. You can, if you have a fat wallet. But I doubt there are casinos online that would provide such wide limits that would be enough to be on the winning side all the time.

If you look it mathematically, red has the same probability to hit on every spin as it did the first. The wheel doesn't remember what number or color it ended on the last five times. Those boards that tell you what has been hit in the last twenty spins is just for suckers.

2^14 = 16384, so statistically, if you play 100 spins/day for about 6 months, you have a reasonable chance of seeing it happen. More-or-less. "Lies, Damned Lies, And Statistics!" I wonder who penned that phrase?
