Well since he bet Mosley 100k on knocking him out, Id say he wants to win his bet.

If Mosley still dont have his speed of old, he will get beat up by Vargas.

Im extremely interested in this, although both fighters are past it, its an even contest imo. I dont have time to do a write up but my tips for the card are:

Vargas KO @ $6.10: I see this as an even fight and getting Vargas to win by stoppage at $6.10 is way overs imo. Not betting the fighter, betting the odds. Also a small bet on Vargas as a cover for the KO bet.

Gonzalez vs. Johnson U/9.5 @ $1.65: Too sharp Johnson is one of the greatest fighters of this era but is way past it now. Gonzalez will be too strong and young and should stop Johnson sadly.

And for the casual fan, check Joel Julio on the undercard. This guy is all class and a future star imo. GL everyone.

from what i've seen on espn of moseley's last fight, his hand speed looks much slower

Hey I am just saying that I know both of these fighters very well
and I or anyone I know thinks Vargas is a solid LEVEL 1 fighter.

Mosley will fvck him up. Vargas did get his ass kicked by
Delahoya. Or anyone who didn't suck.

Yes Mosley beat DeLaHoya twice, but his speed was much better back then.
He has lost alot of that in recent years. He hasnt been no where near the speed he had years ago. So unless he got that back, I dont see him winning tonight.

But Vargas does have a suspect chin, and could be knocked out by a good shot. I think Vargas comes out pressing the issue and he could very well catch Mosley with a shot to knock him out.

If Winky had a knock out punch, he would of floored Mosley in both those fights.

But I will not be beating it, because I didnt get the memo on who was setup to win tonight.

I know it. Vargas has been a big bust since he hit the scene. A lot of people thought he was going to be a big star in boxing, but hasnt amounted to shiet.

I think he took on the big name fights to soon in his career and it just crushed his confidence. He should of run through lesser fighters, then moved on to the bigger names of the game.

Mosley won by 10th round TKO.

Vargas's left eye was swell shut, and they stopped it. He was actually winning the fight a round before. The cards were close.

I missed the punch that caused that swealling to start. Was it a punch or a headbunt? As big and fast as that thing swelled, it had to be a head bunt. But I didnt see them replaying it or anything so Im up in the air about it.
