I know its early but... Unless I hear or SEE anything different up to the weighins I'm calling out my picks for this Saturday.

1. Quinton Jackson -140
2. Houston Alexander -185
3. Michael Bisping
4. Upset fights of the night:
a. Pete Sell knocking out Nate Quarry.
b. Cheick Kongo knocking out Cro Cop.

I haven't even capped UFC75 yet sir. I'll comment on this event when we get a little closer.

I don't know much about UFC, are these Saturday fights all just on PPV or are these events on regular tv, never watched a fight but thinking about checking this out, have always been a boxing fan but looking to see what MMA is all about.

The fights are on PPV. Most of the main fights do not go to a decision. This keeps it out of the hands in the judges which to me is a big issue with boxing. They do show some fights for free on Spike TV. There is a free fight on Spike coming up September 8th. You should definitely check it out. This is the fight that I gave my picks. MMA trumps boxing.

Haha... Definitely! I'm laying the house on him and Houston Alexander. These are my strong plays. Special Olympics wrestler.

That fight will be on Wed. Sept. 19th (Ultimate Fight Night)
I have no opinion on that fight, yet.

Just put 10 units on Bisping before the line moves

If MB loses that fight he will never be respected again, Hamill will not make it out of the first round.

Yeah, sorry... I got a little bit ahead of myself. That is the next fight.

One bet I would like to take back is the Quinton Jackson/Dan Henderson fight. I would stay away from this fight. I could see it going either way. Dan could potentially hold 4 belts. 2 from pride and 2 from ufc. I'd stick with Bisping and Houston Alexander. I have Alexander holding a belt in the near future. The dude is a beast.

That line better move MickChunky. I put much down and I want a scalping opportunity at the least... maybe the Brits will be betting away as they do..

I do hear Hamill is freakishly strong and could wrestle his way to a decision..

Yes he is strong (retard strength) and he can wrestle. This isn't wrestling though. This is MMA. You better come with more tools in your toolbox son!

I didn't mean anything personal by it. "Retard strength" is a real term. I'm not sure where you saw Bisping get dropped with a knee. He is undefeated. He is 13-0 in his professional career. He will lose eventually everyone does. I don't believe Hamill will be the guy to do it especially in his home town.

if i had to make a pick on hendo vs quinton, i'd have to go with hendo

hendo has a good chin and is a little better wrestler than rampage but he has gassed a couple times the last few years which could be a problem in a 5 round fight

They have fought before and Nate Quarry won. I think that has something to do with it. Also, Nate is a bigger household name. I see Pete coming through this time and I'm willing to wager on it.

Bisping got dropped by a knee from Elvis in his last fight though he recovered and came back and got the win

Hey remember this fight is being held in England. That means the fights will be early. I believe 2pm EST. Make sure to get your bets in!

Early Spoiler:

I got my wager in on Houston Alexander. Right after he wins I'll be doubling up on Bisping.

ooo... I love that bet. I don't think it will go 5 rounds. I have watched almost every UFC main event fight. I don't know the stat on going 5 rounds but I haven't seen it. Damn.. I'd like to lay down a heavy bet on that one. Too bad no 5dimes account.

Yes, +300 on Kongo was MONEY! I really believe that Bisping lost that fight. We got lucky on that one. If he doesn't go down to 185 he will be exposed and get his first loss. Good thing the fight was in London and it was left in the judges hands.

Overall it was a good FREE event.

I thought Bisping lost.

MoneyPlays coming in with the knockouts. Nicely done. I liked Henderson as the dog. Kongo was an excellent pick.

What's next for Cro Cop? He looked much smaller than Kongo. Can he go down in weight?
