Gatti got dominated in this fight and gets knocked out in the 9th round.

I never seen this Baldomir fight before, but he seems impressive. He took all of Gatti's early shots, and it didnt seem to phase him. Not great power either, but lands at a high rate. Not sure if that was his boxing skills, or just a sloppy Gatti. It will be interesting to see Baldomir fight the other good fighers in the Welterweight class.

Gatti needs to retire, his hand is never going to last more than 4 or 5 rounds, and his eyes swell and cut way too fast.

been a fan of his a long time, i'd like to see him just hang it up, while he can still function normally.

Hell of a fight IMO. I guess I expect Gatti to do better, so I was quite surprised by the outcome.

Moving up in weight class was the difference in this fight. Gatti's punches weren't strong enough to hurt a true middleweight. Gatti either needs to move down in weight or call it a career. I would suggest the latter.
