UFC 172 Is this the fight Jon Jones loses?

UFC 172 coming up on April 26. Line right now set at about -575. I think the gameplan on how to attack him might be exposed now and all his fights will get a lot closer. No one will fight him the way Evans and Rampage did again.

Im not calling a 450 dog a lock so please dont put that on me but this line is too high for Jones right? Question is can you bet Glover with +450 return?

Mayan cut that shit out. He won
    three rounds.

Jones will definitely have a better showing than his fight against Gustafson. Texeira is a beast but this is a good matchup for Jones. Jones will silence the crowd with this fight but he won't silence the haters. Ill never know why people love to hate the guy. Hes a fighter, not a public relations expert.

I agree with the underlined statement. However, I'm not sure if Texeira is the man who can implement a winning game plan. But @ +450 or better it might be worth a play.

not sure what game plan u mean. He finally fought a guy his same size and reach with decent hands. Now if others can somehow grow and extend their reach maybe u are on to something.

    Dozer,
I agree. Glover is the only way to play this.
Obviously Jones should be favored, but not a -600 fav.
Jones's camp will most likely execute his wrestling and look to score some take downs in this fight trying to secure the decision.
I have Jones the fav but at -325

I'm very confident that Jones's next three fights (Glover, Gus, Cormier) will be tougher than any of his previous ones, minus his last. Of the three, however, this should be the easiest. Glover is a very talented fighter but his striking is pretty limited and he's overly reliant on his power and chin to win standup battles. He will likely be frustrated by Jones's control of distance. I think someone could have a lot of success attacking the thin legs of Jones but Glover doesn't look to be the one to do it.
There is the question of how Jones will look coming off that close fight against Gustafsson. I could see him potentially trying to make a statement by finishing Teixeira early (something I think will be difficult) and giving Glover openings in the process.
My prediction is a decision win or late stoppage for Jones.

Hes a punk bitch that fights smaller(reach, height) dudes and acts like he's the shit.. Once he fought a guy his size he got exposed.. he would get destroyed in the heavyweight division where he belongs..

I'm not much into UFC... but from what I've seen with Bones Jones... wow... everyone worried about how to beat him? The dude is eyeing you right now. I'd be worried about him knowing all of your flaws. The guy is good. I respect him and that Rousey chick. It's hard to beat these two. UFC should have 4 in the ring soon. Draw much more attention. A true fatal 4-way.

Jon Jones speed and his LENGTH should pick apart Glover standing, wrestling or ground game also favors Jon Jones in this one. Glover is gonna need a one punch KO to win this fight if by miracle he can land it..

My thoughts anyways.. Glover is tough and solid contender but I don't think he could beat either JJ or Gus. today... Both Jon Jones and Gustaf are long fighters and really know how to use that length to their advantage in the cage..

Glover has zero gas tank. Will be gassed by the 2nd and completely wiped by the 3rd if he hasn't been TKO'd by then.

I see it as a bad styles matchup for glover. He's not quick or athletic enough to get into boxing range, the only place anyone has ever had success against him. On top of that he has a suspect chin deteriorating with age, along with some questionable cardio. I see Jones keeping him at distance, and taking him down if he ever manages to get inside. Thats enough armchair analysis from me...

Glover is terrible compared to Jones and is an incredibly square bet.

I believe this writer has hit the nail on the head regarding Jones and the upcoming fight with Teixeira.

IMO -- people here are underestimating Glover. Aggressiveness can make up for a lot of deficiencies against a technical fighter and that's what I'm expecting here. If Glover goes for it and doesn't fight scared -- he's got a very real shot of winning this.

Wasting your money betting on Glover, but there's no value in betting JJ either. Gus will beat him even worse in the rematch though.

If Jones sleeps on Gus JUJitz game which he does on occasion he could get subbed. This is the toughest Ju Jitz guy he ever faced who actually will use it in a fight. I know Vitor almost sub him but Vitor rarely uses his JJ.

That's why Glover has a punchers chance, but that's about it.. JJ doesn't exactly have a glass jaw either so it better be a really good punchers chance.. Gonna be very tough for Glover to land that home run punch on Jones as he effectively fights out of range and at a distance..
