Default UFC 104: Chalky!!!

Mauricio Rua +325
Lyoto Machida -405

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (18-3) was widely considered the best 205lb fighter in the world as recently as 2005. Shogun won the last Grand Prix Tournament in the now defunct Pride organization. Prior to his octagon debut he succumbed to a few knee injuries. In his first two UFC fights he didn't appear to be the same fighter that once dominated Pride. Then came his knockout victory over Chuck Liddell. The rather routine KO of an aging Iceman has led many to believe that Shogun is back to his old form.

It's 2009.

Well let's get Back to the Future. It is not 2005, and Shogun is not the best light heavyweight in the world. That distinction is reserved for the baddest man to ever drink his own urine, Lyoto Machoda (15-0). Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well. Proverbs 5:15.

Machida has never lost a round in his UFC career. Not just a fight... A ROUND. He gets hit once every 2.5 rounds. He has shed the boring fighter label with two devastating knockouts in his last two fights. There is no reason to believe this fight will be any different. And there is no reason to believe that drinking your own urine is bad for you.

The benefits of drinking your own brand (or “auto-urine therapy”) are said to include:
  1. Boost immune system
  2. Help stave off colds
  3. Good for skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and Athletes foot
  4. Gargling can help toothache and gum disease and make teeth shiney and white.
  5. Help win the UFC light-heavyweight title
Lyoto Machida -405

Ben Rothwell +255
Cain Velasquez -310

Ben Rothwell (30-6) was the last heavyweight champion of the defunct IFL. Although he has thirty wins, you won't be finding very many noteworthy names on that list of thirty. His biggest step up in competition came against Andrei Arlovski. Rothwell is supposed to have a lot of power in his hands. However he didn't even come close to hurting the fragile jawline of Arlovski.

Cain Velasquez (6-0) doesn't have near the experience that Rothwell does. But who needs it when you have speed, athleticism, and a solid chin. Not to mention the fact that he is sporting a "Brown Pride" tattoo.

I'm not sure Rothwell would get the same reaction if he came in sporting a "White Pride" tattoo. Bottom line is that Cain has too much talent for big white Ben to cause any sort of a problem. No, Cain won't run into a big white problem until he meets Mr. Lesnar. Until then...
WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU?

Cain Velasquez -310

Chael Sonnen +180
Yushin Okami -220

5-Hour Energy is a 2-ounce liquid energy shot that provides hours of alertness and focus without the crash or jitters you may get from canned energy drinks. It contains a blend of B-vitamins, amino acids and essential nutrients. There is zero sugar, zero herbal stimulants and only four calories.

Have ten of these little bottles ready for this fight. Chael Sonnen (24-10-1) takes on Yushin Okami (24-4) in a battle of what is sure to be one of the worst fights in recent history. Go ahead and get something productive done if this fight is televised because I'm going to tell you exactly how it goes. Pacing around the cage, clinch, break, pacing, clinch, takedown, humping on the ground. Decision victory for Okami.
Yushin Okami -220

That's all folks!

*Other picks I like*
Josh Neer +120
Rob Kimmons -150
Razak Al-Hassan +110

Drinking pee just isn't my cup-o-tea. Maybe Lyoto's as it has magical powers, but the only benefit of my own brand as you put it may be that the pee cancels out the stench of my morning breath.

Love the Okami pick....may add some more on it myself after I see the weigh-ins. I'm also looking at a play on Neer, but he's mr. inconsistent and is not to be trusted.
