Just reading about it...
Could things get any worse for the Dallas Cowboys? Apparently, they can.
To end Friday’s practice the team lost starting center Phil Costa, to an undisclosed lower back injury. Dallas is now forced to use second-year guard David Arkin as the starting center for Monday’s preseason opener against theOakland Raiders.
Arkin, drafted as a guard, has never taken a snap in an NFL game before, but the woes don’t end there.
During Saturday’s practice, quarterback Tony Romo suffered am injury to his throwing hand, which required his fingers to be taped. The Cowboys’ signal caller returned to the field however, and after practice said, “I’m fine.”
Although Romo is shrugging it off as nothing, this worries me because he’s injured his throwing hand before. Romo broke his right pinkie in 2008, and in December of last season he suffered another hand injury. Maybe it’s nothing, like Romo says, but we’ll see come Monday night.
To add salt to the Cowboys’ wounds, wide receiver Dez Bryant was also sidelined with injury on Saturday. The stud receiver, who’d been dazzling in training camp, suffered a hamstring injury.
Bryant joins a list, which includes Miles Austin, Jason Hatcher and Anthony Spencer, all whom are sidelined with hamstring injuries that occurred during training camp.
Jerry Jones remains adamant, however, that this early in camp, players with hamstring injuries aren’t going to get pushed back into action until they’re ready, something he calls, “policy.”
This means that we will probably not see either of the starting wide receivers on Monday night, but looking at it on the bright side – if there is one – we will see the young receivers in action.
Looking to separate himself from the pack of young receivers is third year wide-out Kevin Ogletree. He will more than likely be the team’s No. 1 receiver along with Cole Beasley as the No. 2 receiver, against Oakland. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing what Tim Benford brings to the Cowboys’ offense.
I believe that Monday’s result will decide if the Cowboys need to bring in a veteran receive

I think it does because he was arguing that somebody could mathematically end up with a loss even if you get majority of your picks correct - all depends on how much you staked. Im not saying its right or not that you do or dont post your stake size or your ticket (sometimes I dont always do it). And yes that's fair enough that everybody knows who you are so you might not want to post full details
