Good news for Brookins. He might never have been the same if Stephens had blasted him with one of those torpedo punches.

Interestingly, Brookins has successfully dodged two difficult match-ups due to injury: Makdessi first, and now Stepehens. Hopefully next time around he won't have the misfortune of drawing another dangerous striker.

Haha, indeed. Either that or he's hoping to draw Jacob Volkmann. I don't think any other UFC lightweight offers less of a threat in the stand-up.

I think Pettis has answered a whole lot of questions with his last two fights. This fight will tell us much more about where Guida's at now.

I don't see how it answers anything about Guida. Guida comes up short in the striking against anyone good, so if he can't get the fight to the ground he loses.

Guida's skill set as whole, striking, grappling, subs, has been improving steadily with each fight. So for me, this is a big fight for me to see where he's at. And I'm pretty scary judge of talent.

Reuben Duran is my favorite play on this card. Got a good sized play on -180.

    How come?

  21. #21

and what do we know about francisco rivera? He got KOed by erik K, no shame in that.

  22. #22

Ed Herman vs. Tim Credeur, obviously a tough one to call since both fighters have had long injury layoffs. I've always had a good eye for Credeur's skills and I think he's a well rounded fighter who can hold his own where ever the fight goes. Herman's fighting is much fun to watch but i don't think he's better than Credeur in any area, exept for in the clinch but from there he would probably be tripped to the canvas. Had they both come in to this fight without the history of injuries i would say that there is a bit of value in the current odds of -125 on Credeur but due to the injuries I'm not sure. It might be best to not bet at all on this fight.

    What ya'll think?

Pretty solid TUF Finale card. Sounds like Mayhem and Bisping might actually fight on the finale next season, so that's nice.

I say that to my mum and dad all the time, but they just laugh at me or just smile in an sarcastic way. Thinking what i do is just gambling, They are thinking about the old times when people drank a Liter of vodka and stumbled down to the casino putting everything they had on black/red. I think they will shut up when i buy them a new stereo or whatever signed 5dimes. My father things betting is unmoralistic anyway. I actually just bet to upset him. I will prove that when i win a huge load of money he will take them just as everybody else . This is my struggle!!!

Love Kyle Kingsbury. I might be placing a larger wager on him.

I did very much like kingsbury @ 2.0, now i am not that sure. I mean, Maldonado seems to finish every opponent he gets. His boxing is good. His cardio must be good as well as he has a lot of third and late second round stoppages. Maybe Kingsbury arbed with Maldonado TKO?
