UFC 83 - Stoopid Underdogs
for those wondering what the results were.... all the live event favorites won.
 starnes was backing off from quarry the whole time. mccarthy was dominated by bisping. same with bocek dominated by danzig. and same with serra dominated by gsp. lutter almost got a submission (arm bar) but franklin got away and just dominated from then on. lesson learned. vegas is good!

Yes Clementi won and thank goodness for that, his win along with GSP winning within the distance gave me a slight profit on the night.
Starnes performance was extremely disappointing, he simply didn't come to fight. I thought Bocek had a great showing, did better than most expected and showed his toughness as he took a lot of punishment. Lutter/Franklin went as I suspected minus the fact that Lutter gassed after 1 round which he controlled and had Franklin in trouble. |
