Giving yourself credit as if you already paid the interest before you have actually paid. That is delusional.

The issue is that without daily policing and a net positive benefit to Carseller, there is little to no chance he will follow through consistently. He is just panhandling and scamming as many points as he can to fulfill his need to gamble.

If it is 18 or 23 years old inexperienced kid who just started with this gambling thing, chances are that he would change for better... but carseller is close to 50 and probably have been scamming people his whole life. I have no doubt that you want good for him but some guys are beyond saving. You show them kindness and they see that as a weakness that should be exploited

I also believe that Carseller gets some sort of perverse/weird pleasure in seeing people commenting on his lack of morals on an internet site. He likes the attention and he gets his jollies. Whatever, the world is made up of all sorts of people.

Thinking that giving Carseller points with the hope that this cycle will change is delusional.

This was thoroughly and finally clarified a couple of years ago when a lot of people helped him get out of debt and he promptly went back into debt and redoubled his scamming ways and attitudes all the while reveling in the attention.
