A message from "The Prick"

"Hello fellow losers I am The Prick. I have been picking games on different radio shows and publications for years.

The way this works is I'm going to kick your ass every week because I pick winners. If you ever get lucky and beat me then the good ole mafia guys at BetCRIS will slip you a C note. I think they picked me because they know they won’t have to fork over much cash.

Pick college or NFL games I don't really care but don’t be an ass and throw in a total because only straight up side bets count.

I will pick 3 games and designate one pick as my "best pick". Then you pick 3 and also designate one selection as your best pick.

BetCRIS has some other rules to throw up so check back and read the fine print.

My picks will go up every Tuesday. You can post your losers on Wednesday.

Rules for the SBR beat "The Prick" contest sponsored by CRIS

All winnings will be placed into your BetCRIS account. You must have a BetCRIS account with at least $50 before we will credit your account. 3x rollover required before withdrawal requests will be processed. Your BetCRIS ID details must be forwarded to us by noon on Friday following being named a winner of the prize will be forfeited.

Players will wait until The Prick has made his selections before picking their games.

Players will use the lines printed in the thread The Pricks Picks

Players can not select the The Pricks Picks or pick the same game against The Prick. Once The Prick selects either team that game is off the board for the contest.

The scoring will be as follows: 2 points for your winning Best Pick(-2 if it losses) 1 point for the other two winning picks(-1 on losses). Pushes count as zero.
You must beat The Prick to win $100. Ties do not win any prizes.

Players must also indicate which play is their top play. If a player fails to indicate their top play the first posted play will be counted as their top play.

Only sides, no totals

Players that enter an incorrect game, a game not played on the weekend, a total instead of a side, ect., will have incorrect selections automatically marked as a loss. Players must also submit their picks prior to the first kickoff on Saturday.

You may select college selections or pro selections to be played only on Saturday or Sunday. No other days count.

The contest is limited to 20 winners weekly. If there are more than 20 winners the tie breaker will be the amount of points per contestant. If there is still a tie the next tie breaker will be the amount of posts by the contestant. The top twenty with the most points will be awarded $100.

All players who beat The Prick for the season, have played in at least 14 weeks and have a winning record will get a SBR logo Tommy Bahama silk shirt valued at $119.

Either Sportsbook Review or BetCRIS may deny entry or prizes for any contestant with out cause and rules may be modified without prior notice.

1 account per person, No duplicate accounts or email addresses, and your IP address must not be obscured, cloaked or otherwise unidentifiable.

Corn-holed! Stove-piped! Hornswaggled! Boys, da Prick got thumped last week, but that was no surprise. Every time that Senator7 fellow hops on my coat-tails and sez he likes my picks, I get a beating. What a farging albatross! No worries, though, I still got a week or two to stash away a little CRIS money for the winter.....all I gotta do is pick a couple of decent locks and keep that jinx offa my bandwagon. I'm getting back on track this week, and predict that i'll make it to over .500 before the season ends. If any of you punters enjoy wasting time, feel free to enter below. SBR still hosts this joint, CRIS still pays puts up the cash, and Illusion promises not to change any lines this week after I post my plays (NY Giants!). Here we go, ladies, the winning parlay card looks like this:
Bears -3 BEST BET Yeah, this is the third week in a row i'm on da Bears. True, they stroked me last week, but they're gonna run all over the dirty birds, and the best defense in the league bounces back after getting drove by the bus. Vick is gonna wish he had taken the day off before this one's over.
Seahawks -7 Does Holmgren's team have a reason to play? Even more important, doesn't Holmgren look like that fat-ass golfer? Don't matter much either way. Shaun Alexander scores at least twice in the first half before he gets to watch. The Tennessee Oilers are mailing it in, and Seattle wins going away.
Minnesota +3 True, the Vikes have been beating a group of scrubs in their current streak. Also true that i wrote them off as done a few weeks back. Nothing brings a team together like a big orgy on the lake where that Prince homo talked that hot chick into gettin' nekkid and purifying herself. I ain't picked this team right all year, and i'm pretty sure the Steelers are in the same boat. But 'tis the season, boys, and i been living right, so the curse of da Prick takes the week off, and i get paid.
