Default A contest rule suggestion

I don't know whether there has been such discussions.
Why not break tie by the number of points won?
For example, Michigan beat Penn State 17:10, the spread is -6, then you won 1 point by picking Michigan. If it were 27:10, you won 16 points.
I think there are good reasons to use number of posts as tie breaker, although using winning points seems more fair.
In addition, if this applies to breaking tie with the Prick, players will have better chance (CRIS will not like it).
BTW, I won 73 points in week 6, that's why I came up with this idea.

If it were 27:10, you won 16 points. This is SU Margin -1 ???

Whether SU Margin or ATS Margin, you want to break tie by pure luck?

Thanks for pointing out termimologies.
It's seems more fun to me. I don't agree it's 'PURE' luck, just more variance. The more randomness, the more fun.
Anyway, it's just breaking tie, the secondary criteria.

The main sponsor of the contest is SBR. SBR wants you to be part of the community not just stop in for the contest. I came on board with SBR for the contest but I'm glad I did there are quite a few guys in the forums who make this place a great site. If this was a CRIS contest the rules wouldn't include post count but this is a SBR contest sponsored by CRIS. good luck with your picks and keep on posting its a win win situation. What other site pays you to post and pick ? Over the last two years I've received 1400 in my CRIS account and a Tommy Bahama Shirt. I'm still waiting on Covers to send me something.
