Thanks SBR and Prick and sponsors for running the contest. It was fun - certainly more fun because of my 3 weekly wins and final 13th place in the money finish.

My only disappointment came when my final week strategy didn't work out as well as I had hoped. Not surprising, though, considering the caliber of the competition. When I decided not to play in the final week, there were 5 players I could overtake if they got -3 or worse (for 1 of them, a -1 would do it) and there were 10 players who could overtake me - 5 needed 3 pts, 1 needed 4pts, and 4 needed a perfect 5.

I figured the probabilities and decided to pass in order to avoid falling out of the money with a -3 or worse. After being in 5th, then 6th, then 9th place in the final weeks, I wanted to be just about sure to collect something.

I guess my mistake was equating picks to coin flips when I figured the probs of passing and being passed by n players. As it turned out, my competetion far exceeded expected results based on coin flips - and exceeded the picks of the entire population of players in the final week.

What lessened my chances, also, was the fact that 2 of the 5 I could overtake didn't play and only 1 of the 10 who could catch me didn't play. The 12 who played were 23-11-2 on non-best bets and 8-3-1 on best bets. That is an impressive record and I guess I should feel lucky that only 4 passed me and I remained in the money.

Guess everyone else got theirs and mine is the mail courier again. Like I said the other 2 times had the wrong address so my guess is no one changed it again. But we can use the old excuse of 10 business days.
