Default Brandon Webb on Saturday: bounces back or sucks again?

Not sure what to make of his last 2 starts at all.

He doesn't seem injured.

Billingsley is almost as good. Dodgers offense is much better than the Snakes. Bullpen edge is easily in favor or LAD.

Gimme LAD easily. Seems like a good bet to me

i dont agree billingsley is as good as webb, or that lad has as good a pen, or as good an offense

Agreed, Billingsley isn't in Webb's league. But on current form, Billingsley is better than Webb. It's current form that that counts. Until Webb proves he's back to good form, I can NEVER play him.

Webb is pitching poorly, and the Dodgers bats are hot. I am going to be on the Dodgers.

Name me one hitter on the Snakes besides Dunn who is better than any of the 4 on the Dodgers of Kemp, Manny, Loney, Martin, or Either, please.

You can't do it. Admit it, you just like D'backs more as a team.

Saying the Snakes BP is better is completely biased. Siato is also slated to return soon. Rauch and Lyon are trash and you know it.

Steven Drew? Conor Jackson? These guys are not shit. Ask any gm who they would take out of Loney and Jackson and they would go with Loney. Loney has much more range and is 2 years younger to boot. Jackson could only wish to have the live bat that Loney does. He never will.

As far as Drew is concerned, he has made strides but has no where near the talent that Kemp does.

Also please look at the statistics of the ARZ BP and LAD Pen before you make assanine comments. Even without Siato... Kuo, Broxton, Biemel have been lights out. Hell even Chan Ho has been decent.

Yeah I guess Cruz and Pena both better than Kuo. Get fckin clue.

Kemp and Chris Young have had the same type of season. I think Kemp is more talented, but right now the guys have almost the same OPS for the year.

Loney > Jackson, but Jackson is very good. Orlando Hudson is a very good hitter. I think Hudson and Jackson are better hitters than Ethier and Martin. Although Martin is big-time plus being a catcher.

It is really not as big of a difference as you let on King.

In general I agree with you Ryan that taking Webb at + money is a good bet. But this is probably the exception IMO. I don't like betting the bouce-back when the opposing teams hitters are so hot.

Well Bills will keep his team in the game. If Webb doesn't have his "Stuff" then he'll get routed like he did last time out. The sole reason Bills ever struggles is because of the walks, and trust me The Dbacks hitters won't allow that to happen. CBY, Reynolds swing at damn near everything.

And Kemp is much better than CBY. Look their LD%'s. That is the reason Kemp can keep his avg so high when his K/BB ratio is so bad. Again, CBY hits all fly balls and Kemp hits lasers.

I've been on LAD everygame for last 16 games so I am about 500 since then. but they are playing good ball right now you cant deny that. and up and down the line up when healthy they have some of the best hitting in the league. keep in mind loney and kemp are only second year players.

Just wish you would listen more often and not be so biased towards your Dbacks. They can't hit dude, and Webb isn't as good as everyone thinks.
