Pavano may start Saturday
American Idle Carl Pavano may start for the Yanks Saturday. Guess he's a free agent at the end of the year because I doubt the Yanks are going to pick up the option for him at 13 mil.
Guy needs to capture lightning in a bottle. He was so sick in 2005 for the Marlins. Talk about a fall from grace.

You never know. He's been a crash test dummy, this is true. Guys have a funny of way of doing their best when free agency is right around the corner.
I remember when he went on the DL for a bruised butt cheek. That was too funny. Rule #1 of playing in New York. If your hurt your butt cheek, don't go on the DL because then you become a pinata for the media.

Butt cheek boy has been trying to pitch his a$$ off, knows he's going to need to get more money at the end of the season. Have to admit, first two starts back and the guy looks decent, if he can beat Tampa tonight I say he's heating up.
Funny how good free agency staring you in the face can improve your game.
