ya, this total is way inflated, Lannan hasn't pitched really well lately but he did pitch a shutout against Cubs earlier this year. The way the Nationals are having trouble scoring the Cubs are going to have to post huge numbers today to put this over, they have played 1 other series this season, none of those games even came close to touching this number, I will take my chances with the under as well and see how this plays out but I don't think it is going to happen

Guys the Cubs has to come out there hitting slump! I think Vegas knows they will come out of it tonday! Take the Cubs to blow this team out! They will hit a couple of homeruns today! Lannon last 3 is 5.29 and he been getting rocked by his last 6 opponents! Were he lost 6 straight games! Look for the Cubs to win today as the Nationals just won last night! When the Nationals win that mean there going on another loosing streak!

I don't think even the runline is worth it at that price. I think the under is the play, but I have been wrong before. GL

marquis has been about as solid as you can expect from a number 4 type pitcher hopefully the homers with the wind blowing out will be solo shots and not the 3 run variety, edmonds out(the guys a killer with the wind blowing out) and the weak washington lineup im on the under 12.5

I remember a game earlier this season, Cubs vs. Giants. The wind was blowing out the total was 11, just before game time the wind changed 180 degrees (a storm was blowing through), turned out a 3-1 final.

Even without the rain, the Under was the play. Now with the rain, nothing is more guaranteed than the Under. The Nats won't hit. Lannan isn't a gas can. Expect something like a 3-2 or 4-3 scoreline here. I'm on the Under and Nats +1.5.

like i said earlier Marquis is solid this the kid for the nationals lanahan is giving me a headache walking the lead off man in both innings hes got good stuff if he would just throw it for strikes (with his movement the catcher should just set up right down the middle of the plate, his pitches have a lot of life they will hit the corner on their own.)

So your saying its just as easy to pick the over, many do just go over the high and under the low on a Wrigley total. Neither side is "easy."
