Default Give me a reason why NYY is +103 tomorrow

I'm a Sox fan and I'm telling you right now, this line is not correct. The Yankees should be favored in this game, TONS of value with them at +103 and I would grab it now while it's hot.

They have a clear pitching advantage, and it's somewhat likely Manny will not be in the line up. I am considering unloading on this game right now.

Boston is awesome at home, but the Yankees are above .500 at Fenway in the last 15 meetings. Sorry, I have to bet against my team tomorrow... and maybe quite large!

Again, I understand Boston is one of the best teams in baseball at home, but the Yankees never seem to have a huge problem dealing with them. They have a large pitching advantage, and with the possibility of Manny being out, an advantage with the bats as well.

Factor in that Oki pitched and can't tomorrow, and Delcarmen likely won't be available... I have no clue how the books think New York should be a dog in this spot.

Where do you get the "Clear pitching advantage" for the yanks? Going off the Wakefield is due for a bad start theory?

Highly doubt Mo will be avail after a 5 out save tonight.

Oki...not positive, how many pitches did he throw? He pitches 1 2\3 but he could be available tomorrow. Either way we will likely see Hansen which usually means trouble especially against good hitting teams.

If it's +103, they're only saying "come collect more". A close examination of Saturday games shows a good number of underdogs will cash. Imagine the White Sox (Danks) is at +130.

I would go with neither. You kinda have to throw stats out the window during this series. It's essentially a playoff matchup. There are so many variables here that it is very difficult to give any one side the clear edge.

yanks are better team correct? then throw out the stats bc those games are done. yanks are on fire and on a mission

they will win the east then fade in the playoffs

as per usual

If Wake gives up 4 runs, Boston is going to have a tough time winning the game. Assuming Wake gives up 4, we could see New York score 8+.

I am thinking of adding a unit or two on the over for the hedge. I say the only way Boston wins the game is in a high scoring game.
