Default All Nl All The Time (4/28-5/4)

No excuses. Rough start. Its got to get better.

SF (-110) Cain is due to win one of these days, and I know most are on COL. Just feel that SO/INN are important, and with the way that COL has been hitting, he may be adding to his totals (26 SO in 27.1 INN) Toss in a home game, and I smell a winner.

Last Week 2-5 (-3.05)
YTD 7-13 (-6.45)

I know these are pathetic numbers, but its still early, right?

1-0 to start the week. Here's what I'm looking at for today.

WAS (+105) There's a reason for this low number, and its because the Braves are banged up on the left side of the infield, and don't have anyone else to pitch but Glavine. Nats are coming off a winning weekend, and will look to extend their winning ways against a team that doesn't know where the're going right now.

MIL (-120) Sheets is the ace for MIL, and Marquis has been decent, but not great. Sheets has allowed 14 hits and 4 BB's with 24 SO in over 29 innings. Marquis 26H and 9BB with 15 SO in 23 innings.

CIN (-110) CIN/STL OVER 9 (-120) Cueto has got to notch another win sooner or later. Piniero has not been as lights out as last year. CIN offense is starting to light up, and Cueto is vulnerable to giving up the long ball. OVER 9 is looking good to me.

SF/COL OVER 7 (-120) Everyone will be on the under for this one, but I think that SF has got Cook's number, and should score some runs. Lincecum is great, and is on the cusp of national stardom, but he walks too many, and he's due to get lit up by someone. Why not a struggling COL squad? This is my least favorite of the bunch.

As always, appreciate any feedback (Thanks JAGH & OLGC)

CIN/STL OVER 8.5 (-120) Don't think that Piniero will be able to keep CIN from running around the bases. The CIN bats are hot right now, Griffey is due for a dinger, and Cuerto will probably give up 2-3 runs. This number is too low IMO, and I look to cash in on this one.

This week 1-0 (+1.0)
YTD 8-13 (-5.45)

2-0 to start this week. Never been a fan of Dunn, but I was last night. Here's what I'm looking at today.

PIT/NYM UNDER 9 (-120) Chilly day in NY, Perez has been solid, and Gorzo has struggled, but he did pitch better in his last start (except for 7 walks). I just don't think that this game will get to 9.

STL (-101) Both pitchers are good, Harang is better, but Harang gives up alot of hits, and I think it will come back to bite him today. Not a blowout like last night.

HOU/ARZ UNDER 9.5 (-120) Johnson should keep HOU in check, and ARI will score just enough to win.

SF (-112) Sanchez can dominate a lineup that is struggling, and today COL is struggling.

ATL (-112) Hill has pitched well, but I think that Jurrjens will be the better starter in WAS today. ATL lineup might get back in sync today.

Maybe more later, but these are my thoughts for afternoon action. As always, I appreciate any input.

Wow. Couldn't have been more wrong yesterday.

LAD (-130) HOT TEAM RIGHT NOW. CAN'T GO AGAINST a team that's hitting lights out, vs a pitcher who gives up a run per Inning and walks just as many as SO. LAD have out hit FLA 2-1. FLA is not the same without Jacobs and Willingham, and the pitcher should be in the minors.

2-1 this week (+.8)
YTD 9-14 (-5.65)

AFTER FURTHER REVIEW............

FLA/LAD OVER 9.5 (-120) Both pitchers can give up the runs, a combined 54 hits in 43.2 innings, with 15 BB and only 23 SO. They have also given up 26 ER. Should be a long afternoon for both.

GL to ALL.

To clarify, this is my only play on this game.

MIL (+130) Gallardo is pitching well, but so is Big Z. I'm a big fan of Big Z, but I feel with the reinsertion of Soriano in the lineup that the Cubs will find it hard to get scoring. Cameron's back for MIL, and I think they will scratch out one or two more runs than CHI. I also feel that the total is high, but it smells like a trap.

1-1 today, +.1 (Should be 2-0 )

WAS/PIT OVER 9.5 (-120) PIT can hit, that's a fact. WAS has not been hitting well lately, and only scored 16 runs n last 5 games. Enter Mr. Duke. VERY hittable, and I sense alot of baserunners, and hopefullt alot of scoring.

PHI (-110) Love the price, and the Philly Offense is due for a big night. Like Wolf alot, but showed some vulnerability in his last start. Taking Eaton and the Philly pen to win.

Finished the Day 2-2 (-.1). No big deal, except I should've stuck w/LAD.

ARI (-120) The Mets are not as good as it seems. They are having trouble in their lineup, and Maine has not been steady. (Their best hitter is Church. Not Reyes, Wright, Delgado, or Beltran. Ryan Church.) Owings had a rough start last time out, but I lean towards the home team in this low scoring tilt, and I'll take my chances with that price.

Leaning CIN, FLA, MIL, and LAD, but need to look into these further.

4-3 This Week (+.7)
11-16 YTD (-5.55)
