I actually like Oakland and Pittsburgh as values picks.

The three guys that LA is putting out are no better than the three Oakland is starting. And the price is very steep for the Angels.

I think the Pirates are going to turn it around. Duke might get knocked around, but Snell and Gorzelanny are solid. The price is also very high on the Mets, for good reason. But this is more of a hunch play.

I am in no way shape or form betting any best of series because of who the starters are . The reason I list the starters is just as a GAUGE (also as something to hold some faith in) . Time after time you will see the guy you bet on that started leave the game when the game is still in the balance .
So , you can scratch the listed starters as having anything to do with what the outcome will be for that game .
So instead of thinking you are betting gaudin vs garland you are really betting on :

Is nice to seclude the matchup to starter vs starter but this is not really how baseball works as a whole . Sure sometimes a guy goes 8 or even 9 inn , but ......

yanks > have faced being swept 4 times already this year and avoided the sweep every time .
