I use Betcris. The stats were based on the top 2 runline odds teams nightly each night of the 07 MLB regular season. That is a specific as I know to be. Sorry if that does not answer all questions.

If a system requires using a single book, where you'll usually get a worse line than you would with line shopping, it is fundamentally flawed. Compare how often you would get a better line on somewhere like Matchbook compared to CRIS and I bet the vast majority of the time Matchbook will be better.

Cubs and Boston two heaviest runline teams using betcris for today. . I have not found a way to place wagers if the games both start at the same time. That would be a good thing. I dont think an "If Bet" of this nature is allowed..

Philli and Cinci are the #1 and #2 heaviest favored runline teams for today @ Betcris at the time of this post.....and they play at different times(Philli first). This poses an opportunity to play a 2 step progression on these.

do you just consider the top two runline teams to be the two -1.5 runlines which have the lowest payouts?

Your system has been working well so far, but how do you know this actually happens around 85% of the time over the long haul?

Yes, the top two teams are the ones with the lowest(payout)Runline odds for any given day.

Well, all I can speak to is the time I have monitored and that would be the 07 season.

As far as chasing the second day, I haven't done that yet but feel it could potentially be effective. I would have to do more looking into that scenario.

If so, having a 2 series with the best run line teams of two consecutive days would win more often than the top two run line teams of a single day as you would be betting on the best team both days.

It could be done.....by someone.

You would have to go back every day and get the runline odds for every team. You would also have to ensure that you captured the information for the exact same time for each team for that day. I use Betcris to get the lines for this purpose so you would have to use this book also. This would be very time consuming to try and gather the historical data.

For today I have $20 on the Phillies runline, and if they lose I have an additional $40 on the mets runline (I am doing this with a person not an online sportsbook).

you think this could be related to the odds run line games get and not if its the best odds for the day? perhaps the favorite in the run line hits pretty well when the odds are EVEN or something like that.

I had Boston and Cleveland as the top two teams today.

Maybe Cleveland and Arizona have the same runline odds.

I agree with KTorp as this has likely more to do with the value of the odds, and not what the rank of the odds are relative to each other.

@ -130 and got an easy winner. Thanks Pluslines.

I was prepared to play Bosox -1.5 @ -115 if the mets did not cash. Both would have won,

I think Atlanta 's 2nd game would have qualified as THE play today. But because of the first game and the Braves not hitting I could not do it. Its is going to end up an easy winner as they are 8-1 at this moment.
So instead the next worst odds looked like Cubs @ +115. I like this play better on paper as the Cubs have outscored the Pads 211 - 122 on the season.
Added to that, Zambrano seems to be in good form early on.
