Default Sunday's Scoreless 1st Inning Thread

Didn't see one started for today ....

Still looking at the slate of games .... (6-9) on SAT for the No Scores. Worst day since opening day I believe.

ATL/NYM was only -140 and I think BOS/TOR was less than that.

Where are you guys finding information on pitchers first inning performance? Is there stats on this that are easy to find?

Not sure where stingy gets those 1st inning stats, I've mostly been looking at lineups and how they do against the starting pitcher. Taking a shot with PHI/CIN at Even Odds. Phils haven't seen Volquez and Myers has decent #s against the Reds first 4.

what's up fellas.... i can't believe toady so far... i was a little discouraged by yesterday and that a lot of people jumped on board yesterday only for a crappy day....

so today i wasn't that motivated and overslept with the numbers and the early games and 7 out of 8 went scoreless..... i will start working on the remaining games numbers and hopefully the rest of the day goes like it started....

thanks a ton for starting the thread guys, i wasn't sure anyone was still interested in this bet anymore after a disappointing day yesterday....

let's get em boys, hopefully you all cashed on some of the early wins....

ok here are the numbers for the next 2 games:

Ariz/Colo

Gonzalez 30/23

Morales 8/2

----- this game has been a risky one so far because the ball has been flying outta coors, runs in the first in both of the first two games of this series

Tex/LAA

Padilla 168/88 1/0

Garland 223/125 1/0

------ this numbers are really good, and i cashed on this series the first two games of the series, just hard to believe the angels don't score again in the first with the potent line-ups involved

i would say the second game is the best option, but either one could easily having early runs

and your 4 o clock numbers:

Lad/Sd

lowe 221/112 1/0

young 99/45 1/0

Clev/Oak

Lee 125/81

Blanton 98/55 2/0

really good numbers in both games, the juice is really high in the dodgers/padres game, but scoreless first seems likely in either, only concern is Lee

Also on the LA/SD game ... Young better get it set down 1-2-3, A.Jones and Ethier have great stats vs. him.

Chi/Det

Buehrle 234/141 1/0

Verlander 64/24 1/0

----- those numbers are pretty solid, and both the aces of the staffs so i am certain i will be on this one, hopefully to cap off an abbreviated successful day

stingyrivers for president! I wouldn't have thought to play
1st inning props if it weren't for you. I'm up today because of it and look forward to having a successful baseball year. Looking forward to this thread tomorrow. Congrats Gents!!!!

nice....

yeah, today was a great day with this, i think we shoulda saw yesterday coming because all the staffs were at the 4th/5th starters and the aces came back around today.... we definitely gotta keep an eye on that....

glad we got something that looks great started here.... let's keep it going, i really feel like this can be a profitable approach for the whole season

wow.... well i guess perfection is very very hard to attain.... still a profitable day though, went 3-1, i would take that any given day....

scoreless 1st's went 12-3 today, hopefully tomorrow is along those lines too.... i will post the numbers for the games tomorrow later tonight....

hope everyone cashed more than they lost today
