[4.6.08] ChuteBoxe's MLB Sunday (+4.43 Units)
Phillies (-125) for 1 Unit
I like Brett Myers to rebound from the bad outing in his first start, here against the Reds. Also, the Phillies traditionally play well against right-handed starters, while the Reds tend to struggle.
Yankees (-185) for 1 Unit
Shields is horrible against the Yankees, and I don't expect them to get swept against the Rays, especially with Girardi back.
Red Sox (-110) for 1 Unit
Beckett vs. Halladay. Halladay has had some bad outings against Boston in the past, while Beckett has tended to excel against the Blue Jays. Also don't expect the Sox to get swept against the Jays, and I think there's decent value at the -110 price.

Nice, i was looking at philly also. Myers is underrated IMO. At 1st glance, i like shields vs us. I saw your stats on him vs us. So maybe that will sway my opinion a bit.

Myers is definitely underrated. It doesn't help the guy keeps getting bounced back and forth from the starter role, to the closer role, back to the starter role. But yeah, on the Yankees game, keep in mind Girardi hasn't managed the Yankees in both of the past 2 against Tampa due to an illness, and also Shields is 0-4 when starting against the Yankees with an ERA of 8.58 and a WHIP of 1.694.

Yeah , i see what your saying. Maybe i'll take a pass. I guess u don't believe in the jet lag theory on boston?

Just saw this now. Sorry bud, don't know how I missed it. Anyways, I do believe in the jet lag theory, but it's been some time now. Players should definitely be adjusted, and they lost 2 in a row already. Beckett is one of the best active pitchers in April, and Halladay has really struggled against the Red Scum's big bats in his career.

He got me on the phil's and mariners(you know the fish jinx is in when you the starting pitcher goes 8 scoreless innings, only to be benched so the bullpen throws it away with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th )
SBR needs to make his put his plays in early, so i know what to fade...

Brutal. I'm actually going to wait and see what he plays tomorrow, and remove it from my list if I'm on the same side. I got burnt twice today by him having the same pick as me.

Phillies (-125) for 1 Unit (Loss -1.25 Units)
Yankees (-185) for 1 Unit (Win +1.00)
Red Sox (-110) for 1 Unit (Loss -1.10)
[Posted in Players Talk] White Sox FF (+170) risking 1 Unit (Win +1.70)
[Posted in Players Talk] White Sox Under (9 @ -110) for 1 Unit (Loss -1.10)
Bad day on all sports, lost $750 here, $370 in the NBA, and $200 on NASCAR, earlier it was looking way worse though. Watching a movie tonight, clearing my head, and getting some wins tomorrow.
Today: 2-3 (-0.75)
YTD: 9-5 (+3.68)
