Seriously, Randy has been having a nightmare recently. The Royals are looking OK at the moment - series win against Oakland, spanking Boston at the moment and on for another series win.

KC -1.5 is +527 at Pinny. That is definately worth a punt.

Royals pounded Schilling tonight. The Unit shouldn't be too much of a problem for them tomorrow, especially with how he's thrown lately.

Well I did get better than kc -1.5 +527.

I got +534. Yee haw!! No, I shouldn't joke - my whole philosophy is based on the idea of working for every cent I can get.

If this was the last couple of years I would wait until closer to gametime. It was pretty reliable that these kind of lines would go up. This year has been different though and I am finding that the best time to pull the trigger is right around now (11:30 - noon EST) soon after WWTS posts their openers. (This line of +534 is from Pinnacle BTW.)

Some dog alt. runlines will still go up during the day but I have been doing some tests and more are actually decreasing this year.

Basically, unless you do what Mudcat is doing, this game is unplayable unless you want to take a shot at the Royals. You have to be either one of four things to bet on the Yankess today.

1. A beginner (i.e. guy who just opened up a sportsbook account a few days ago and does not have much experience betting sports)

2. A recreational player (i.e. guy who just bets for fun)

3. A homer (i.e. guy from NY or a big Yankee fan).

4. A guy who is chasing (i.e. lost big last night or on the Cubs/Marlins game this afternoon...and begins to think NYY is the only way to win it back b/c it is a "locK"

These are the only possible type of people who would bet the Yankees. IMO, I would stay away from a line like this...even betting KC has a lot of risks attached to it. There are far better games to take a look at tonight.
