Francis has gone 7-2 with a 3.47 ERA in 11 road starts this season, including 4 straight wins with him on the mound away from coors field. Padres starter Greg Maddux is 12-7 with a 4.20 ERA in 24 career starts versus the Rockies. He's 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA in two starts against the rockies this season, allowing ten runs and 17 hits over 18 2/3 innings. Madduz hasn't had a win since the All-Star break, going 0-3 with a 3.78 ERA in six starts.

Disagree disagree, I think this is a classic trap line. Maddux should be able to hold Colorado down, they are slowing down offensively and they are likely to take a hit at Petco. SD should be able to get to Francis for a few and come away with the win. This is a small line to get for SD, I think there's solid value with SD.

If this was a Colo home game I would agree. But not in San Diego. I passed on this one even though I like the Rockies.
